Crunchy hurriedly packs his bags, stuffing all the necessities he would need for a night away from home. Turns out his dad pure vanilla has decided to go all out with this reunion, hosting a very elaborate ball.
Honestly crunchy should have seen this coming, his dad has always been the one to please people.
There was raucous beeping coming from outside his apartment. If it was any other day he would have chalked it up to unruly neighbors, but today caramel arrow was coming to pick him up due to his lack of a car.
"Godammit caramel- would you just give that horn a break?" Crunchy mumbles hurrying down the stairs.
He then calls his cream wolf over, putting a collar on his neck, "ready to go boy?"
Cream wolf simply sat wagging his tail.
Crunchy pats the wolf with a laugh opening the front door so he can run out. Cream wolf then jets up to caramel's black sedan jumping up to her open window.
He could see the startled look on her face once the cream wolf came into her view. "Dad said you could bring your dog?"
Crunchy exits the door closing it behind him
"Yes, AND HE'S NOT A DOG THANK YOU VERY MUCH!"
He could see caramel smirk, "yeah I know Mr. megaphone, I'm just messing with you."
Crunchy simply rolls his eyes going over to the car to open the back car door for his cream wolf. Right after getting in the front seat himself.
"What was with all the beeping?? I told you to make a call when you get here."
"And I told you to be ready when I get here," Caramel retorts "I wanna have time to relax before dad starts bombarding us with all this fancy stuff."
Crunchy closes the car door "yeah yeah just hope he doesn't see us checking in to the hotel, then you'll have to say bye to your relaxing time."
Caramel arrow puts the car in reverse backing out of the parking space.
"Well you better work with me here, because five hours of intensive archery ain't no joke, I need my break!."
"Well, that sounds like a you problem."
Carmel scoffs "you know I can kick you out of this car right-"
"How about you drive the car, hm?"
Don't tell me to drive, as if you know how to in the first place!"
The two carry on like this for a good five minutes, before they finally took off and onto the road.

The car ride was relatively quiet, mostly the stench of two hours of boredom filling the space but they managed. Car games kept them relatively entertained such as punch buggy (though the game got a little too competitive, they almost ended up in an accident) Luckily their weary patience paid off with them having reached the hotel.
" 'El Berrian resort' yep we are definitely in the right place according to the GPS."
Crunchy groans "about time, I don't understand why pops picked a place so far to do this thing."
Caramel arrow shrugs finding a parking spot, "well I mean it's a nice place, and also it's Hollyberrian theme." Caramel gestures "and y'know, he likely just wants to make his friends feel welcome."
Crunchy clicks his tongue, "and this is the same man who said being there in person was all that mattered..."
He could hear Caramel cackling while opening the car door, "pfft- jeez crunchy you are really taking this ball thing to the heart aren't you?"
