Monica went back to Tess. She was relieved.
"That was not so hard," she said.
"It's just the beginning, Miss Wings. The hard part is yet to come."
"Tess? I know you can't tell me WHAT will happen to me but perhaps you can tell me when it will happen to me?"
"It will happen the day He is brought home," Tess said.
Suddenly reality dawned on Monica.
"I'm going to go home too... the same way?"
"Monica, it's nothing to be afraid of."
"I'm not afraid of going home to heaven," Monica said softly.
Tess sighed. She was afraid for Monica... because what Monica would go through would be horrific... and on that day she would have to do her assignment without her angel powers.
