So ,will you tell me who you invited?"

"Um well...I invited Patrice and um...Lara."

My eyes went wide.

"Lara?You mean my sister?"

She nodded

"You mean the sister that betrayed me?"I was now yelling because of how furious I was.

Well this night just took a downward spiral.

Chapter 2

"I can't believe this."I run my hand across my face in frustration.

"Well,I'm sorry.I figured it was a good idea.Look Car,it's been five years .If you ask me I think that long enough.You need to let go and forgive her ."Abiola explained. "Maybe you can just talk things out with her when she comes."

She was kinda right .It was probably time to let every grudge I had against Lara go.

This all started about five and a half years ago.Lara and I were then still as inseparable as we were when we were 5.We would play together ,bath together ,eat together ,do practically everything together .I considered her my twin even though she was 2 years younger than me.
I loved her so much I could do anything for her just to make her happy .I would take the blame for every bad thing she did .That's how much I loved her Until that faithful morning...

"Mom ,please hurry up we're going to be late for the show."I groaned as I sat down impatiently waiting for my mom to come down the stairs .

My dad was already in the car waiting for us .
My sister on the other hand went out on a date with her boyfriend of 9 years .Yes 9 .Believe it or not 9. I was so happy that she was with him .He seemed like a really decent and well- brought up boy.And I was hoping that he'd one day,later on pop the big question.I see the way she talks about him like a lovestruck teenager.She loves him so dearly.

After about 5 minutes mom still wasn't down.I wondered what she was doing that had to take so long.My thoughts were interrupted by the opening of the front door.

It was Lara .Looking like a mess .She had the heels she wore on her date in her hands and her makeup was all messed up from crying.

I worriedly walked towards her.The first thing I noticed was that she reeked of alcohol and was drunk .

"Lar,what's wrong ?"I asked as I got even closer."Talk to me.What happened?"

"H-he broke up with me."she sobbed.

"What ?Why?"

"He said he wasn't in l-love with me anymore and was seeing someone elseee."

"Oh Lar,I'm so sorry.I'm here for you.Come here."I pulled her into a hug .

"No .Leave me alone .I want him backkk."she yelled.

"I know that but-"

"Shut up "she yelled
Well that's new

She staggered slowly towards the kitchen.
