Untitled Part 7

Lucy's POV

I walked hand in hand with Rogue as we walked to a nearby park and I relished the feeling of warmth that radiated from his hand into my own. It felt as if we were connected as we shared the same heat. I looked up to see Rouge's calm, serious face looking forward. I admired the way his hair fell into his eyes and how it complemented his red eyes, which seemed to pop out.

"Lucy?" Rouge's voice asked me.

"Hm?" I responded.

"Are you okay? Because you've been staring at me for a while now."

"I was just admiring how handsome you are." Rouge's face turned red and he turned his face away from me trying to hide it.

"It's only natural to do that to the person you love," I said truthfully.

"You love me?"

"Of course I do! I always have."

"I love you too." *He embraced me tightly.

*Time skip to when Lucy goes back to school*

I finally reached the school grounds and I could feel myself radiating with happiness since I've now been able to see my childhood friend after such a long time. As I walked back to the girls' dormitory I could feel many glares being thrown my way as I walked past them. Before I reached the dormitory I heard someone yell out something to me.

"Oi!! Look at Lucy! She's a traitor!!" I turned around to see a blue haired boy with a tattoo on his face. I glared at him as he approached me with his hands in his pockets.

"What do you want Jellal?" I said in annoyance.

"Gosh Lucy, you sure did turn cold in a few years. Last time I saw you you were such a nice, happy girl that everyone loved," he said in a tone that I couldn't identify.

"That was a long time ago. Now tell me, what do you want??" I said.

"Why do you have a Sabertooth jacket on while you're attending Fairytail?" Jellal said in a curious, yet serious, tone.

"It's Rogue's jacket, he gave to me when it started to get cold out when we were out together."

"I would be careful if I was you, since Fairytail and Sabertooth are enemies in everything."

"Okay? I don't really care," I said in an annoyed voice.

"I'm just warning you, just in case you start to get bullied again." I froze in place when he said that. I looked him right in the eye and punched him across his face so hard that he fell to the ground when my knuckles hit his soft face.

"Don't bring that shit up ever again Fernandez! Even if we were friends as kids it doesn't mean that we're going to be friends now so just leave me the fuck alone before I beat you up again like I did two years ago in front of everyone. You should learn where your place is before I destroy your dirt poor family," I snarled at him and walked away after I saw his frightened face. I could feel even more people watching me as I walked all the way back to my room. Once I entered my room I locked my door and every window so that no one could get in. I went into my kitchen and made sure there was enough food to eat for a whole day. When I finished with that I went and took a shower and then went to sleep for the rest of the day.
