(COMPLETED FOR NOW) The Danger: Gaara/Shikamaru x Reader

Chapter 1 - The Pain

You wake up to stones bursting through your windows and stones hitting the outside walls. Then all of a sudden you smell smoke, your home is on fire. You hear shouting, "(y/n) (y/n) get out of here you monster." You shoot up from your bed, getting your weapon pouch and clip it on your waist. "Monster go away" scream your friends and all the rest of village people as you pack a small bag. The people you cared about most turn their backs on you again.

(Flashback)

"(Y/n), wait up". You turn around to see Saya, and Maki, your best friends running towards you. As you look back you see them going into their weapon pouches and pull out kunai. As they throw them at you, you dodge all of them and calculate heavily where the next one will land. Well, almost all as one hits your shoulder just grazing it. 'Are they actually trying to kill me?' You thought as you send kunai flying back at them. "Why are you doing this?" you screamed. "Because we hate you, you stupid bitch!" Yelled Saya as a tear rolled down her face past her rosy cheeks, but she whisks it away making it look like it was never there. Maki was crying but it didn't stop her from fighting you. "Liars!" you screamed 'Who's making you do this?' You thought to yourself only to dodge another kunai. You turn dodging yet another kunai and run out of the village. "One day I'll come back and find out what really happened." You whispered to yourself taking off and into the trees of the surrounding forest.

(End of Flashback)

Carefully listening to where the village people are, you sneak out the back door only to be hit in the right arm and leg by rocks that came through a window from inside the house. Turning into your pink with orange tint fur nine-tailed fox form you take off running on all fours, while trying to stop the pain and the tears. You are now running to who knows where now. As the fire of what used to be your home is but a flicker in the distance and the shouting a mere whisper.

Time skip...

You turn yourself back into a human so people would not get scared of you, but your fox ears showing proudly as they always do. You show up at the gates of the Hidden Leaf village also known as Konoha. You are still far from the gates, but they are insight. You are limping from the nights and days of running and being injured. The guards shout telling you to stop moving as it is still fairly dark out. You look at them and tried to smile then your e/c eyes shut and the last thing you remember is hitting the ground and them yelling "Miss are you alright?"

Large Time skip...

You hear someone moving around as your eyes shoot open, you backflip onto the headboard of the bed landing on it gracefully. Then kick the bed forward and hitting the person at the end of the bed in the ribs and smashing them through the wall. As you land on the ground like a cat you look at your surroundings, pricking your fox ears up. Next thing you know your right leg and arm gives out thinking back to what you last remember. "Fuck that hurts," you say trying to get up only to fall back to the ground. You finally realize there are more people in the room. You look up to see a blonde haired boy staring at you along with a short pink haired (like you) girl. They look about 15 - 16 maybe even 17, 18 each. "Damn," said the blondie and the pinky stood there shocked stuttering something probably about the person you rammed through the wall. You realized that you were in a hospital. You stand up only to faint but you were caught by the blonde.

You wake up in a bed trying to relax and sit up. You wince in pain, your right arm hurting. You start to get out of the bed, hearing "Get back into bed."
You look to your right to see a person right beside you. You stayed in the spot you were in and almost started to shake violently as you thought about what happened that night. Flashes of what happened and the words. The person turns her head towards as you start to tremble a bit not knowing what to do. She puts her hand on your shoulder and pats you on the head with the other. She says "Hello my name is Tsunade and I am the Hokage. What is your name?". "y/n" you say almost whispering. "Can you repeat that?" Asks Tsunade. "y/n" you shout "Okay y/n, what brought you to this village". With the mention of 'village' you start to tremble. Tsunade thinks "Something is very wrong here" you try to relax and calm down a bit to help you stop trembling. "I was in a v-vill-llage for two months and-and I was s-sleeping and I was attacked so I ran and ended up h-here." you stammered. "What village?" she asks. "I don't know I've been all over." You answer. "What do you mean by all over?" Tsunade asks curious. "Well.... It wasn't my first time being pushed/kicked out (and almost killed) by a village." You tell her. You quickly turn your head away from Tsunade. Your h/l, h/c hair covering your face now. When you looked back she looked into your e/c eyes and asked "do you have a family" you said with a choke out "No, but my brother was taken away from me. My brother and I aren-" you got cut off as your window slams open and the boy with blond hair comes flying through. "Granny Tsunade I have been looking everywhere for you". As you jumped off the bed and did backhand springs pulling out a kunai (where did that come from) and stood with it out in front of you while you enter a fighting stance. Tsunade stands up and protects the boy and tells you "Y/n, it is okay, he will not attack you. He is a friend."  You drop to the ground and let go of the kunai as the pain in your right arm and leg kicked in again, but as soon as you let go of the kunai the boy charges at you, you picked it up aiming for him.

Right before he hit you and you hit him Tsunade went in between the two of you. You were able to miss her in time and dodge her as the boy hit her sending her skidding backwards, as she caught his hand and yells "NARUTO" angrily. "Tsunade" you yell, as you land on the wall like a sitting dog and looked up to see them scrapping you jumped down and landed on the floor. You walk over to them and hit the boy named Naruto in the head. "Ooww" he yelled. All of a sudden you hear a voice and jumped. Naruto the boy said 'shut up fox' he said to the nine tails inside him "Who you calling a fox boy" you barked he looked at you surprised that you heard him. "The nine tails" he answered almost terrified. You almost broke down in tears know that you know your bro is alive. Naruto asked if you were ok you said "Yeah, I'm just happy to know Kurama is alive still". Tsunade and Naruto looked you funny and said simultaneously "How do you know his name." "Well its a long story," you say with a closed eyed smile..

(Flashback one hundred years)

You wake up and sharpen your teeth and bath in the lake. Your everyday routine Kurama sits up waiting for you to get out of the lake "y/n get out of the water" he commands hearing people coming trying to surround us. "Shrink" he yelled as a net is tossed over him. You shank down to a normal fox size which Kurama couldn't do."Run y/n Run get out of here!" He yells. As the first Hokage restrains him. You just keeped on running. After running for your life you transferred in to a little girl about 4 years of age and started to walk around. You stopped and starting to cry.

(End of flashback)

"Well, he's my brother" you say. Naruto jumped and Tsunade jaw dropped. Naruto started to argue with the nine tails. There was a dragging silence. Then "Lady Tsunade are you alright I heard a com-" a different boy said as he came running in with kunai in hand. "Shikamaru get back or drop the weapon" Naruto yelled as you spun your kunai in your hand in a fighting stance. The boy now know as Shikamaru dropped his kunai and stepped back. You dropped your stance and kunai. Shikamaru called someone over you looked over to see who it is. "Temari!" "Y/n!" you and Temari screamed and run towards each other. "I'm so glad we get to meet again, Temari!" You say happily. "Okay, how do you know her Temari?" asks Shikamaru. I brought her to a village in the land of wind. "So why are you here?" Temari asks. You look up at her sadly. "Oh, it happened again hhmm." "Yeah, it did." you told her
