bakit? why are we being arrested?
Hindi nalang kami nagsalita at sumunod na lang kami sa mga police.
But while being shocked and puzzled.
Bakit kaya, even though kami na yung inatake, bakit kami ang ikukulong?
Isn't this absurd and unjustifiable? Killing James was an act of self-defense, and I have explained that many times na sakanila.
When we arrived at the Police precinct. Sumalubong sa amin ang nanay ni James, kasama ang buong angkan nila.
what the fuck? what are they doing here....
They were crying, shouting and calling me a killer. I couldn't care less dahil Im still under shock.
When we entered the precinct, the chief of Police said
"You were arrested dahil Mr. James' family filed cases against you. Ang hibig sabihin nito, there will be a court battle to prove your innocence".
"Ano pong masasabi niyo regarding your case?"
wow ha? ako pa na-demanda? pa victim kayo?
At bigla kong naalala that Dad taught me na I should always say "I wont be saying anything without my lawyer" pag kaharap ko yung mga Police.
"I wont talk without my lawyer"
"May I call somebody?" dagdag ko
Pinahiram nila sakin yung precinct telephone at tinawag ko si Dad.
Dad never knew what happened, kaya siguro ngayon ko na din aaminin.
I waited for quite some time. Dahil hindi sumasagot si Dad, siguro busy siya sa business meetings like such.
Until, sumagot na siya.
"пока?"(poka - casual hello in Russian).
"опа! +63?"(opa - oops, +63 Philippine Country Code)
"Ehem, magandang araw po? Sino po ito?"
lol....
"Dad...." sabi ko
"LEXIIII? HI ANAK MUSTA PILIPINAS?" sabi ni Dad
saya mo dad ah.....
"Ano na palang improvem-"
"Dad, me and Eva got arrested" sabi ko.
"сука блядь! why? what happened?" sabi ni Dad.
"I killed someone in self-defense with the gun you gave Eva"
"I may need a lawyer, may kilala ka ba Dad?" sabi ko.
"wait wait, You. You killed someone? Sino naman yun? What happened?"
Hindi ko na kinayang isipin pa at naiyak na lang ako. Ayaw ko na siyang banggitin pa. Kaya binalik ko nalang sa Police Officer at nakiusap ako na sila na lang ang mag-paliwanag kay Dad.
"It is clearly self-defense, this is ridiculous!"
"Officer, please tell Lexi na paparating yung lawyer niya. At pwede bang pakibigay ulit sa kanya yung phone? I need to talk to her"
