I wake up. I have my arms around the dog and I look to see if he is awake. My clothing is still wet. I get up and I see him wag his tail. I pet him on the head. "So what's your name boy? Do you not have one I better name you something." I say softly so my foster mother does not know I'm out here.
"We'll I did find you in a storm so why don't I call you Rainstorm but Rain for short." I smile as I say it. I bring in some food. I set down a bowl of water and some chicken meat I pulled off the bone. I sneak back into the house and change into my pjs and comb my hair so it looks good. I walk out to the kitchen where she's making breakfast.
"Amber! Come eat!!" She yells and Amber comes down the hall dragging her feet.
One thing I do know is Mrs.Darcie cannot cook food and it does not look good right now. It's eggs with burnt bacon and the eggs are a little bit burnt themselves. I always eat her food with a glass of water so I don't have to taste it. She walks over to the table and sets the food down on the table. I look over at Amber who is looking in disgust at the food. I take a bite and quickly drunk a sip of water and secretly take some of it and put it into my pocket for Rain.
"The food was good Mrs.Darcie." I say with a smile. I leave the kitchen and exit the back door and go to the door outside that goes into the garage. I set grown the eggs on the floor and let him eat it. "Time for a walk boy." I put his old leash on him and walk him downtown. We walk out of the garage and we run downtown to 'Paws Rescue' I go in with him and tell them where I found him and how sweet he is and they take him. I offer to help out there too.
