Shiver, Frye and Big man were walking around Octotronica. They had been DYING to go here, but never got the chance until now. They had decided to change things up and leave splatsvillie for a day, and visit what other inklings and octolings call "The modern city". They were right, the city was full of modernness. There were high-tech gadgets everywhere that would never be seen in any other city.
"This place is AWESOME!!" Frye shouted with glee. "The food here tastes amazing and the people are so nice!!" She shouted afterwards.
"The buildings are so unique! I'm guessing alot of work went into them." Shiver exclaimed, as she looked up at one of Octotronica's tallest buildings.
"Ayyy!! Ayay! (The music here is so cool too!)" Big man said dancing along to the music that was playing around. Then, he suddenly stopped.
"Ay...ay ayayyay? (Hey, you guys hear that? Sounds like an electric guitar..)" Big man said, trying to figure out where the music was coming from.
"I hear it too!" Said Fyre. "Whoever is playing it has some good skills!" She continued.
"Guys! Over there!" Shiver said as she pointed in the direction of a little stage, where many people were crowded around it. On the stage stood two octolings, one with a microphone, and one with an electric guitar.
Frye read the banner that was on the top of the stage. "Galaxy way..?" She said, squinting her eyes, "Hmm.. they seem cool! Come on guys let's listen!" She shouted as she started running towards the stage. Shiver and Big man quickly followed after her.
The two octolings were just about to start their song..
The blue girl had a velvety, soft voice, while the purple boy was more of a rapper, but did sing too. Shiver and Frye were amazed of their talent, Frye even said that they remained her of Pearl and Marina. While Shiver and Frye were enjoying themselves and dancing along, Big man continued to stare at something. That something was Eclipsa.
He got lost in her eyes, like they were hypnotising him, her body was beautiful, her voice was warm and sweet, big man started to slowly blush before being knocked back into reality.
"Hey!! Big man! You ok there?" Shiver asked big man as she waved at him to try get his attention.
"A-Ay! Ayy.. (OH! Uh.. Sorry shiver! I got a bit carried away..) He said, now feeling embarrassed.
The song had ended now, and Eclipsa and Cosmo had just stepped offstage and into their dressing rooms.
"Hey....big man? I've gotta little question for you...!" Fyre asked, leaning in close to him
"Ay! Ayay! (Oh sure Frye!)" Big man said, leaning back a bit
"Hehe..do you have a crush on the blue girl??" Frye said, with a huge smirk on her face. Big man started to blush madly.
"A-AYY? AYY!! (W-WHAT?? NO!!)" Big man shouted with panic, but Frye didn't believe him.
"You suuuuuure?" Frye asked, teasing him slightly.
"Ay! Ayay! (Yes! I'm sure!)" Big man replied, still blushing madly.
"Then...why were you staring at her during the whooole song?" Fyre asked, raising one of her eyebrows.
"A-ay...ayyy....(I- uh...uhhh....)" Big man said, starting to look down at the floor.
"Oh come on! We won't be mad at you!" Frye said. "Hah! Just tell us!" Shiver said, joining in on the conversation.
"Ay! Ay! Ayy....Ay ayyay..(Ok! ok! Fine...I do have a little crush on her.)" Big man said, continuing to look at the ground in embarrassment.
"Aww!!" Frye and Shiver said at the same time! "That's so cute!!" Shiver said afterwards.
"Heyy...maybe we should meet them! They could recognise us since we are deep cut after all!" Frye said, pointing to where Eclipsa and Cosmo were standing, they were signing loads of autographs.
"Yeah we should!" Shiver said, holding onto big mans fin "Come in big man!" She exclaimed.
"Ay!..ay..ay! (Oh...uh...ok!)" big man said, following after the other two.
-A few minutes later-
"Oh hey! I've heard of you 3 before!" Cosmo said after he signed the last of the autographs. "You guys are deepcut right?" He said after.
"Yes we are!" Shiver said, fanning herself with her fan. "You guys must be Eclipsa and Cosmo!" She continued
"Cosmo, did you just say...DEEP CUT??" Eclipsa said, feeling a rush if excitement through her. "Oh my god!! I love your guys' music so much!" Eclipsa said, jumping up and down in excitement.
"And we love yours too!! When I tell you I was dancing so hard to your song, I couldn't even control myself!" Frye said, doing a little happy dance.
"Anyways, nice to meet you guys!" Cosmo said, shaking their hands and big mans fin. Eclipsa did the same, and when she shook big mans fin, big man started uncontrollably blushing again, and Eclipsa noticed.
"Hey, big man, you ok? You look really red.." Eclipsa said, a concerned tone in her voice.
"A-ay? AY! Ay-ayyay...(H-huh? OH! Uhh..) Big man stumbled..trying to make up a good excuse. "Ay..ay...ayayyay! (I'm... Just...shy around new people!) He finally said.
"Oh ok!" Eclipsa said, with a slight blush on her face.
-30 minutes later-
"Hey guys, I think me and Eclipsa gotta go. Our father wants us for something!" Cosmo said, Getting up from his seat.
"It was very nice meeting you guys!" Maybe we should get eachothers phone numbers!" Eclipsa suggested. Everyone immediately agreed with her.
Deep cut waved goodbye to Eclipsa and Cosmo as they entered their fathers company building. Deep cut were going to go back to Splatsville now, since it was getting late.
- A few minutes later -
They were on the train, Fyre was resting her head on shivers lap and big man was on his phone, many thing we're running through his head.
-Big man's mind-
"Ay-ayy!! Ay ayyyayy ayyayyyayyy.....ayayay! Ay ay! ay-ayyay....(I've got her phone number!! I feel so happy.. I should text her first thing in the morning, but.. I can't ask her out just yet, I've only just met her...but my god she was beautiful....)" He thought, as he blushed madly again and hugged his phone.
