Hello, readers! I had created this story hoping that someone would actually read and enjoy it, and I see some read it and wanted it to continue. I am very rarely on Wattpad, and I was on my first account and came to this account. I was reading all of my old stories that I had created years ago, so I came to this account and stumbled across this one. I haven't read this story in a while, so I decided to give it a try. Most of my old stories were very embarrassing, but after coming across this one, it wasn't so bad. I have decided to resume on this story, as I feel it is worth finishing. Sorry for the wait, and I hope you enjoy!

Entering into the car, Goofy notices your ankle almost instantly and goes into a frantic panic.
"Oh GORSH! What the heck happened to your ankle, y/n? Do you need ice, a bandage, a CAST?" You can't even find the words to explain, but all you want him to do is DRIVE! "Not now, please drive me to the hospital! It hurts so bad!!" You exclaim as Max looks at you, almost driven to tears. "Fine, but you have to tell me what happened later!" Goofy says as he steps onto the gas pedal.

When you arrive to the nearest hospital, Max carries you inside and Goofy sits in the waiting room. The pain from your ankle is so intense, that your vision starts to waver in and out. "Code 11, broken bones. Take her to the nearest room, and fast." You recall the doctors talking as your hearing fades, and you no longer feel the warmth of Max carrying you, but instead you are being rushed through hospital doors. You blackout, not remembering what happens next.

While waiting in the waiting room, Goofy decides to break the silence. "Max, did you see what happened to y/n?" Goofy asks, looking down at his son with curiosity in his eyes. "Uh... well I... well dad, not really" Max lies and looks down. "Maxie, I know that look anywhere. Are you lying to me, son?" Those words... they remind Max of when he confessed to Roxanne shortly before. "N-no... no Max, there's no way you can lie to your dad AGAIN! That's also lying to the two girls you wanted to be with in the first place. Roxanne means so much to me, but so does y/n. UGH!" Max fights his thoughts, but he knows he can't tell his dad what really occurred. He would be so disappointed and disgusted, and rightfully so. "N-no, dad!Why would I even lie to you again after what he just went through this week? I'm being honest." Goofy stares at his son with uncertainty at first, but he eventually believes him.

After half an hour, the surgery done on your ankle was completed. The doctors called Goofy and Max to the hospital room. "Y/n... I'm so, so sorry... you know I would never mean... or want to hurt you." Max whispers tearfully as you lay unconscious. "M-Max? Is that y-you?" You ask, blinking slowly back into reality. "Y/n, you're awake! Thank God!!" Max embraces you with a tight, loving hug. He grips you so tight, you don't want him to ever let go. "Yeah, I'm alright..." You say as you stare off into his enchanting eyes. "O-oh, sorry... OW! MY ANKLE, MY ANKLE!" Goofy rushes over. "GORSH, ARE YOU OKAY, Y/N? WHERES THAT DARN EMERGENCY BUTTON AT?" You giggle and try to calm Goofy down. "N-no, Mr. Goofy! I'm okay, I really am! My ankle is very sore, though." "Oh, ah-hyuck! Sorry, but if you ever need anything just reach out!" Goofy assures you.  Soon after, your divorced parents rush through the door. "MY BABY, ARE YOU HURT?" Your mother says, rushing over to your bedside. "I'm okay, mom and dad! I think it's just a little sprain." You recall the sounds of your ankle popping due to Max shoving you to the ground. You become teary eyed, and try to hide your face. "I hope these CROOKS didn't have anything to do with this!" Your dad says angrily as he pushes Max away from the bed. "Crooks?! We didn't do anything to your daughter, we would never hurt her! Right, Maxie?" Goofy asks Max. Max stares at you, then your parents, and then Goofy. You look at him with pain in your eyes, expecting him to tell the truth but you don't want him to get in trouble. "Yes, Mr. Goofy. You guys would never do anything to hurt me." You respond before Max can answer. Goofy smiles in reassurance, and Max looks at you with shock.

The doctor walks in with the hospital bill and hands it to your parents. The cost was expensive, but was paid off. The next day, you are laying at home in your bed. The doorbell rings. "Who is it?" Your mother asks. "Uh.. it's me, Max." Your mother smiles. "Oh, Maximilian! Please, come in! Y/n is upstairs in her room, you're welcome to go on up! Knock first." "Okay, thank you."

Max walks up the creaking stairs. *knock knock knock* "Come in!" Max walks through your bedroom door, and you looked surprised but angry. "Max, just g-go away. I don't want to have anything to do with you!" You softly shout as you turn your head away from Max. He sits next to you and tries to look into your watery eyes. "Look... I know what I did was horrible, I'm a big fat jerk, and-" You cut off Max. "Actually, you're way more than just a jerk! You told me you would tell Roxanne, Max! Why didn't you tell her!? I thought y-you... wanted to b-be with me." Your lip quivers and a tear falls from your face. Max looks down in disgust at himself. "I know, I know... I really do want to be with you, it's just..." Max thinks as you look up at him with glistening eyes. "Is it j-just me? What did I do?" Max can't help but look into your eyes and start crying. "No! It isn't you, it's ME! I'M SORRY, PLEASE FORGIVE ME! Y/n, I do love you and I choose you, but I also loved Roxanne and I'm just getting over her! I SAID IT!" Max says as he wallows in his own misery. You comfort Max, as he may need it more than you do.

"Max... i-i'm so s-sorry..." You begin to say but Max cuts you off. "No, don't be sorry for me. I caused this on myself. I have to fix it, but first..." Max reaches over and kisses you on the lips. Both of your cheeks glowed a bright, shiny red color. Your excitement couldn't be hidden, as it felt both of your hearts were beating at the same time. Max gets up and walks out of your room and heads downstairs. You wonder to yourself, what in the world just happened!? Did the love of your life just kiss you? It all feels like a dream. "Leaving so soon, Max?" Your mother asks out of curiosity. "Yeah, I have to hit the road. My dad is going to be worried about me not getting home for dinner in time and, I have some things I have to make right."

Max walks up to Roxanne's door to apologize, but no one answers. There is mail piled up on their porch mat, and no car is in the driveway. Max begins to suspect if the family isn't home. When he walks around to the back of the house hoping for an answer, he finds boxes. "What? Roxanne? Roxanne!" Max bangs on the back door, but as before, no answer. He then finds a folded note on the doorknob. "The key is under the mat. We found a great deal on a new house, so enjoy this one. It has made many memories in it." With Roxanne's father's signature at the bottom. Max's jaw dropped, as he realizes Roxanne and her family has moved away.
