Max Goof x Reader ( Out Of The Friendzone)

Max and "the open road"

"G-geez, f/n i'm so sorry t-that you had a dream like that. If there's anything I can do to help," you cut him off. "Max, really it's n-no big deal. If you want Roxanne back, I would understand. I'm not good enough for you anyways." You say not realizing how foolish you sound. Max used his finger AGAIN to lift up your head and he grabbed your hand. The darkest blush you have ever had so far came across your face.

"I told you, I like you f/n. Just please... trust me." He begs as his voice cracks. You sigh. "I don't know. I'll have to think about it." You say still upset. "You know what, just forget it." Max shouts as he slams the backseat door to go back to the front. You put your hand to your eye as you feel a tear run down your face. You and Max don't talk for the whole ride in anger. Goofy tries to cheer you guys up by doing some road games and songs, but you guys ignored his attempts, and he eventually stopped. You decided to take the nap you didn't get to enjoy.

Once you guys finally arrived in Spoonerville, you wake up and look out the window. You rub your eyes to see if your vision is correct. "Mr.Goofy, i-isn't this R-Roxanne's house?" You ask in confusion of why he is here. "Well yes, this is her house. Why? Is there something wrong?" He asks you in curiosity. "N-no! Of course not. I just was wondering because... (Goofy stares at you and adds on more pressure) because! I um.. just woke up and my vision without my glasses makes me confused!" You say with a slight fake smile on your face as you can tell Goofy ain't buying it. "Awe. You can tell me. Old uncle Goof knows how to handle it ah-hyuck!" Goofy looks at you and winks. You can't hold it in anymore. You have to let out your feelings.

"Mr.Goofy, i'm so s-s-s-sorry!! I ruined everything!!!!!" You say while stuttering and sobbing uncontrolably as Goofy comforts you with a hug. He gasps in shock. "Wait what? How did you ruin everything? You actually made everything better! You are the reason me and Maxie have a closer relationship! It was an honor to take you on this trip, and more trips to come!" You look at him when he smiles and wipes your tears. "But.. Why is he here at Roxanne's house?" Goofy laughs. "He just wanted to tell the girl that he lied and things might not work out. Hes not here to start a fairy tale f/n! Or shall I say, Mrs.Goof ah-hyuck!" He looks at you and laughs as you can't help but laugh back. You look back and see Bobby and Pj skating. "Goofy, i'll be back. I just saw my best friends." You wait for his approval. "Ay-hyuck aw alright. Just don't be long! I'm just going to fix the car. We gotta get you back home!" You run down the neighborhood as you get Bobby and Pj's attention. "Guys, guys! Guess what?" Bobby stares at you with his head slighty tilted. "Whats the sitch? Oh I know! You got me more cheddarrrrr awooooo!" You roll your eyes at him. "No, I didn't get you cheddar and I never will. I did win Max though!" Pj shoots his arms in the air in excitement. "Yessss! I knew it! Good going, buddy!" He shouts across the yard to Max as he talks to Roxanne. You notice Roxanne looks.. kind of depressed, and looked like how you looked when Max told you he liked her. You started to feel too gulity for your own good, and decide to go up to Roxanne.

"U-um.. should I do this??" You think to yourself in fear. You decide it's the right thing to do. You walk up to Roxanne's porch where her and Max are talking. Your head is up high and you are in high spirits. "Look, Roxanne. I'm sorry that me and Max are together now, but that's the way it is. If you want him back, that's fine. He might agree with you anyways." Roxanne looks at you as her pupils dilate. "Wait.. You guys are together? You didn't tell me this Max!" "Uh oh.." You think to yourself as you knew at that moment you just messed yourself up. "Roxanne, I can explain!.." Max shouts as he grabs Roxanne's hand, and she snatches it back quickly. "No Max. You lost all my trust in you. Now get off of my porch!" She shouts as she slams her door in his face. Max stares at you in anger as he stomps down her steps. "Wait. Max, you weren't going to tell her we were together??" You ask as he ignores your question. "Oh, so you won't answer me? Say something already!!" You scream as you grab his hand and you went too far. "Don't touch me!" He yells as he pushes you to the hard, concrete ground. You manage to slip your foot under your body to try and stop the fall, but you end up breaking your ankle. You can't move, and Max turns around realizing what he just did. "[F/n]... I-I i'm so s-sorry." You look up at him in tears as he tries to help you up. No!" You scream as you push him away, but you hear the bone in your ankle snap even more, so there was nothing you can do but let him help you. "[F/n], I know you don't want my help for being a jerk, but you will need it because if you don't, your ankle will snap." He states as he holds his hand out so you can grab it. You roll your eyes at him and grabs his hand right before your ankle breaks. You frown as he picks you up and takes you to the car.
