I turn around looking for a place to build a fire. I explore around for a little while, looking searching for a place to camp. I hear a loud crunch behind me, what was that? I turn around and a large, beautiful, raven black almost blue coated wolf. Suddenly it whines, and almost like watching a tree grow, an (fully clothed) 18 year old boy is standing where the wolf once was. How did that... how did that just happen? What? The radiation from my phone must be getting to me.

He runs off. I hear whispers, whispers of wind. It didn't take me even take me a split second. I hear my heart in my ears, and my blood pumping. Running, running as fast as I can, uncaring of what I disrupt, uncaring of what will happen, the only thing in my head was; what in the blazes? I run faster pumping my legs as hard as I can, no stopping now. I see a flurry ahead of me and Stephanie jumps in front of the wolfboy. I stop before I crash into them, they are staring into each others eyes caring not of where they are, nor who they are in front of?

"W-w-who are y-y-you?" Stephanie stutters

I cut in, "More so, what are you?" I add monotonously. Might I add I only have one friend for a reason.

"My name is Jay, Jay Walkers, I am a werewolf, and I would like you to not tell anyone of my species and my species' being." Jay states with his chiseled jaw loosening and tightening as he states every word. He looks like Stephanie's type. I'm still left waiting. I stuff the matches in my pocket, I don't have a fire but I will soon. Stephanie and I cross our hearts in a swear.

"So Jay Walkers, where are you from?" I state curiously.

"I-I don't know." He stutters the confidence he once held was gone, the the manly 18 year-old that once was is gone now. "All I remember is waking up in a house with a man, a woman, and 2 children standing around me, but that when I was 7."

Must be hard to lose that much. Scary, even, putting myself in the shoes of a 7 year-old boy, it would be a hard life, and it probably was.

"How long did you stay there?" Stephanie says in a soft voice, questioning him, trying not to bring up the memories so... hastily. Knowing, as she is alike to me, she likes her answers.

I look down at my watch. It's 02:30 in the morning. Just as he states "today."

I interrupt "actually it was yesterday. Currently it is 2:30 in the morning"

Stephanie raises an eyebrow at me, "Okay then, we need a place to set up camp and a place to light a fire." As she says this she goes and stands beside me.

"I know of a place we can go, its just down the stream, I was about to set up camp, but I needed to go hunting." Jay says. I raise an eyebrow.

"Now what makes you think your going with us?" I question.

"Well, first of all you are both girls, meaning-" I had heard enough and cut him off.

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted. Meaning  no since of direction."

"B-bu- arghhhh" I say in frustration

Jay smirks victoriously.

"I guess that settles it in then, I'm tagging along."

                                                                                   ~.~.~.~.~

It's much later now, around noon, we have set up camp and currently we are setting up a campfire so we can make baked beans from a can. I'm lost in thought, Jay and Stephanie are flirting. Jay suddenly says some cheesy pick up line and flexes his bicep, Stephanie giggles and squeezes his muscle, giggling like a school-girl.

"Good god, I'm gonna puke." I interrupt their flirting. Stephanie and Jay glare at me.

"What's wrong, are you sick of being lonely?" Jay states rudely.

I roll my eyes and walk away from the camp, deciding to explore. I stick my hands into my pockets, grumbling about how cocky and stupid Jay is. I look behind me because I smell fire, I see that Stephanie and that thing  have started the fire. I roll my eyes, turn around and keep walking.

I look ahead and notice something, is that a- yes it is, it's a house! I run towards it, feeling a very promising feeling, wondering if my father could possibly be there. I burst inside and see... nothing. I walk towards the table, seeing a note on it. I open the letter to see sloppy hand writing. I inspect the letter, collecting information such as- written in little time, male, charcoal pencil, left handed, and its urgent. I read quickly sensing the urgency.

   "Dear Amelia,

I see you came into the woods, looking for answers. I see everything. You and your little friends. When your little friends fall asleep come to the large tree a little ways away from the house. Come alone. I have important information.

Also I'm sorry about your mother.

                                                                                                                                            ~Father dearest"

My knuckles were white, I had been gripping the paper so hard. I rip the paper up and stuff it in my pocket. Waiting to throw it in the fire later. I walk back to camp and notice that its a little closer to 18:30 now. I was exploring for hours! Wow! Stephanie and Jay probably went hunting or something in fact I see a slip of paper. I walk forward to read it.

"Dear Amelia,

We will be back soon. We went hunting. Don't worry we are safe. We should be back in 20 minutes.

                                                                                                                       ~Jay and Stephanie"

Well looking a the pencil markings I would say that this was written a few minutes ago. So I have about 10 minutes to kill. I burn the paper, but when I do I notice something. The fire isn't its normal warm colors. It's blue! Meaning the paper had some kinda sea-salt or something on it. How am I going to explain this to Stephanie and that thing. Though... I shouldn't have  to explain it... hmm got it!

"BOO!" someone shouts from behind me.

"ahhhh!" I scream sarcastically, not actually scared.

Wolfboy and Stephanie sit down. They both give me a confused look before Wolfboy asks the question preparing to answer moments ago.

"Why is the fire blue?"

"I picked up a piece of driftwood and put it in the fire, the fire turned blue. Simple, really" I state. Wolfboy gives me a suspicious  look before saying "OK" and dropping it.
