As we entered the classroom, I noticed that most of my blockmates were boys – an Engineering block indeed. I headed towards the front seat near the wall but Jei pulled me at the back. Oh, I almost forgot I got a new buddy... good luck to my near-sighted eyes.

Few minutes later, the professor entered the room.

"Good morning! I'm Professor Ramon Cabugayan and I'll be your Calculus instructor."

Mr. Cabugayan is a middle-aged man wearing black rim glasses, a typical Math professor. Some white hair showed on his kinda messy hair. He had some wrinkles on his eyes and forehead.

"When I call your name, introduce yourself or say anything about you, ok?" then he smiled.

"Argggghhh... Is this high school?" I told myself.

At least I found Prof. Ramon opposite a terror math teacher. He made us laugh and joked around during the introduction.

Then, there was this guy who caught my eyes. He looked manly with his sideburns growing, thick brows, long lashes and pretty brown eyes. He also had an athletic body that is not too buff, just enough muscle showing on his checkered blue polo.

"Hi! I'm Eric. I play table tennis and a member of the Actors Guild."

Jei suddenly whispered, "He's our school scholar"

"Ah huh!" I exclaimed. My ears are sensitive and it's the no. 2 ticklish part of my body next to my neck.

So... he's the university scholar. The reason why I couldn't apply for it was because there's this rule that they only allow one scholar per semester. I like guys who are intelligent, good conversationalists with pretty eyes. Sigh.

"Zash. Hey, Zash, you're next!" he elbowed me.

"Oh!" I was startled.

Woke up in my Day dreaming, Jei caught me staring at Eric. There was a sudden outburst in the classroom. My face blushed as I introduced myself.

"Hi, I'm Zash and I just transferred here." That's all. Not the first impression I would like to make on the first day of class.

I wished to be invincible.

Now.
