|Wind'Paw stared at Green'Tail, stepping back| "Shivering'Briar said you died moons ago! He told me the story!" |Green'Tail snarled at Shivering'Briar's name| "What he said was true, but remember, there is an afterlife." "So, your StarClan?" |Wind'Paw realized Green'Tail was looking to the side a bit, his claws curled into the soft leafbare ground. Wind'Paw thought for a bit, before noticing a red tint in Green'Tail's fur. Was it blood? Green'Tail suddenly darted away. Suddenly her surroundings turned dark.| "H...Huh? Green'Tail?" |She called out, then she noticed a smear of blood on a tree.| "What the..." |She stepped closer, when she felt something soft, wet and warm under her paws. She looked down and let out a horrified shriek. A mangled, bloodied body, hardly recognizable as a cat was at her paws. She ran off, horrified, until Green'Tail stepped Infront of her.| "Scared?" |His claws were unsheathed, and he grinned cruelly. she stepped back, feeling sick. She realized there was no moon, no stars, and the trees were all leafless. Green'Tail stared at her, still wearing the cruel smile.| "Welcome, to the dark forest."

     |Wind'Paw padded into camp, it was still dark, but the darkness was quickly fading. She stepped into the apprentice's den, and curled up, just wanting to get sleep after her encounter with Green'Tail.| "You alright?" |She heard Rabbit'Paw's soft, tired mew| "I'm fine..." |When she opened her eyes she gasped, getting up and stepping back. Rabbit'Paw's eyes were leaking a red, thick liquid. Blood. She ran out of the den, and she darted for the camp entrance, but two cats stepped Infront of her. Shivering'Briar and the medicine cat, Sharp'Gaze. They're eyes were the exact same as Rabbit'Paw's, and she fell back. Claws dug into her flesh, and she screamed in pain and fear as her pelt was clawed out, and soon, her eyes.|

     |Gasping, she stood from her nest. What was that dream? She padded out of her den, looking around camp. Everything seemed normal.| "Wind'Paw!" |She turned to see Scarlet'Flower padding towards her| "You've been asleep all day! We need to go make sure you actually get ANY training in today!" |Wind'Paw nodded, standing. She padded out of camp with Scarlet'Flower, still exhausted| "Let's do fighting this time. Try knocking my paws from under me using only your front paws!" |Scarlet'Flower instructed, and Wind'Paw ran at her. She hadn't taken the time to watch where she was putting her paws, stepping on a cluster of loose pebbles and tripping. She tumbled into Scarlet'Flower. She realized her mistake and got up. Scarlet'Flower let out an amused purr| "Don't let invisible mice trip you!" |Relived, Wind'Paw tried again. This time, her paws hit Scarlet'Flower's and the deputy toppled| "Great job!" |Hearing those words come from her mentor, the deputy, made her feel like she belonged. Though something gnawed at the back of her head. What was missing? She turned and gasped. Green'Tail was staring at her through a few brambles| "Alright, let's try another move. Next you should..." |Wind'Paw didn't hear the rest of what Scarlet'Flower was saying. Green'Tail was looming over her, his emerald eyes gleaming.

     "Are you sure you've been getting enough rest?" |Sharp'Gaze's mew startled her| "I... I'm sure!" |She retorted, staring at the worried medicine cat. Sharp'Gaze's eyes narrowed| "Cats throughout the whole clan have been wanting me to check on you..." |Wind'Paw turned to see Green'Tail nodding, as if interested. She groaned. why did the dark forest tom have to follow her everywhere?| "Here, take these and try to rest." |Sharp'Gaze gave her a couple poppy seeds| "Come back if you need anything." |She nodded, lapping up the poppy seeds before going to her den to try to sleep. She passed Vine'Song, who gave her a worried glance as she padded into her den. The poppy seeds seemed to be working, as she could hardly keep her eyes open. Curling up, she looked around the den. She sighed. What was wrong? She felt at home, but she didn't feel like she was... herself. She lowered her head, and closed her eyes, feeling sleep drag at her fur until it engulfed her...| "WEAKLING!" |The snarl shocked her, and she realized she was in the dark forest...| "USE YOUR CLAWS! RIP WITH YOUR TEETH!" |The cat's voice was unfamiliar to her, so she padded into a clearing to see who it was. A large, white furred tom with ice blue eyes was looming over a dark brown tabby, snarling| "Are you stupid? FIGHT!" |She heard the tearing of flesh at the tabby's throat was slashed. The cat gasped for air, before collapsing. The cat hd died... Her ears flattened; this was cruel! She couldn't help but be glad normal mentors weren't like this...| "Spying, Wind'Paw?" |Green'Tail's voice sounded from behind her, causing her to turn around quickly. His gaze pierced her own. She shivered. How long would she survive with the dark forest hunting her down?|
