Leto Justice P.O.V.

I stand behind the curtain, ready to make my entrance, ready to present these- these CHILDREN to the Capitol. Take them down from the inside a voice echoes in my head.

The only reason I wanted to be the Hunger Games host was to take them down. So far, nothing has happened. And I have to prepare another group of 24 children to be killed.

It's time to go on stage. I can tell by the road of the crowd. I briskly walk past crowds of people, doing my makeup as I go: Black and Purple eyeshadow, black lipstick, thick purple mascara, and winged black eyeliner ending in purple. My newly dyed dark purple hair is tumbling down my back. A new, long, open backed shimmering black dress with a slit on my leg has been made, just for me, and my trademark black heels finish the outfit.

1, 2, 3, NOW!
I walk on the stage just as a voice says "And your hosts, Leto Justice and Hestia Ricci!" Hestia and I walk out, waving to the crowd.

She's dressed in a mermaid tail dress that is orange and red ombre. Her orange hair is pinned to the side, and her red makeup is on point. We both sit down in our matching white chairs, ready to present.

"Hello Panem!" I say, as the crowd dies down.

"It's that time of year! The Hunger Games!" Hestia talks through her smile. "And this year is a Quarter Quell!" The crowd goes wild.
"So let's turn our attention to our great President, President Ryker!"
The giant screens behind us on the stage part, and the President walks up.

"Hello Panem," He says, waving, "It is time to announce our twist for this years' games!" He opens the card that I have him.
"This year, we will have a very different Games. I find a match for my son, Hero Ryker. So we will choose 2 girls from each district to compete. District 1, though, will be Reaped, as they have the most beautiful girls in our country, except those from the Capitol," This draws a laugh from the crowd, "All the other Districts will have girls between the ages of 14-16 to compete in a Death Match, where only 12 of the 24 girls will advance to the next round. The remaining girls will spend a month, that's right, a month in the Capitol, training to be like Capitolites, and then will compete for Hero's hand. Good day Panem, and and may the odds be ever in your favour." He walks off, leaving the crowd aghast.

"Well, there you have it Panem!" Hestia says, "Your Quarter Quell!"
Then the lights go out, and we are escorted off the stage, by Peacekeepers, listening to the sounds of the people in the crowd scream.
