Jeon Jungkook
I turn around on my bed and check my phone, it's 8 pm already, I sigh and step out of my bedroom after staring at the ceiling the entire evening. I walk downstairs noticing Aunt Song knitting on the couch while watching television. She turns around and looks at me in surprise.
"I'm going out for a walk," I say, eyeing her suspiciously, seeing if she would stop me from going out. She smiles, her eyes crinkling at the corners, "just be back before dinner" comes her voice soft and gentle making me relieved.
I nod and walk out the door. The sky has darkened and it's quiet outside, the wind is blowing quite harshly making me shiver. I walk out the front gate noticing the guy from earlier passing by, he looks at me and waves before walking towards me.
"Hey, wassup" he greets with his hands in his pockets. "Hey" I simply nod, "just getting acquainted with the place"
"This part of town is not much but its peaceful unlike the streets downtown"
"Huh" I lean back on the gate, noticing a car coming our way, quickly recognizing it as the chief's car. "Isn't that your dad?" I ask motioning towards the car.
"What, where?" Taehyung whips his head around to see the car parking next door,
"Oh shit they're back, well it was nice talking to you, I'll see you around" he quickly says before rushing towards the car.
I watch as Chief steps out of the car, his eyes quickly locking mine. He says something to Taehyung before walking towards me, I notice a familiar face stepping out of the car, he seems to be excited. Where did I see him before?
"What the devil are you doing here, Jeon?" he huffs, glaring at me.
"Spending the summer with my Aunt Song, you got a problem with that?"
"Oh hell no" he mutters, making me arch my eyebrows. What's his problem with me?
"Jaehyun? what are you doing, who's this young man?" a woman, probably his wife, approaches us wearing a polite smile.
"Uhm, this is Jungkook, mom," Taehyung interjects.
"he's staying with Miss Song for the summer apparently," Jaehyun says sternly making me smile in amusement, he's really got something against me.
"Yeah, she's my aunt," I say nodding at the chief's wife, she seems harmless.
"Oh really? I didn't know Miss Song had family around here, well Jungkook, you should come inside for some coffee!" she says joyously, making the chief whip his head towards her, glaring. If looks could kill...
"Hyeko, I'm sure Jungkook has matters to attend to considering he's outside, let's not bother him," he says forcefully in a rigid tone, but she didn't budge, "oh, I'm sure he won't mind some coffee, would you Jungkook?"
"Sure, why not?" I say smirking seeing the Chief glare at me, I'm in no mood for coffee but I agreed just to see how red the chief could get from anger.
"Alright let's go inside now, it's getting colder outside"
"Taehyung, go fetch Jihoo from the tree", Hyeko tells Taehyung as he sighs and walks off into their backyard, me wondering why that guy's even on the tree but I don't say anything as we walk towards their front door.
Hyeko walks first inside and just as I'm about to step in, the Chief grabs my arm making me face him.
"listen now, I don't know what shit you stirred up that made you end up here but if I catch you anywhere near my daughter, let alone my family,- he pauses, his face red and his breath heavy, "I will not let you off the hook easily this time, my daughter is very precious to me, I don't want you smearing your shit all over my daughter, she's innocent and she has a bright future ahead so I don't want you anywhere near her, you hear me?"
