"Goodbyes Are For Permanent Separation"

"That was awesome but I kinda hoped Alice would stay in wonderland, I mean I would choose wonderland over reality," Seohyun says stretching her arms as the credits play out on the TV.

"Exactly, how could you say no to mad hatter?" I admit, yawning.

"I'm pretty sleepy"

"Me too"

"Well it's no surprise, we woke up pretty early to go to the beach", I say, getting comfortable on the bed, giving more space to Seohyun.

The sound of someone knocking on the door interrupts our conversation, "come in!" I yell before Dad enters the bedroom, still in his sheriff uniform, "Hey kid, yeah I clocked out of work early because uhh Jihoo has his appointment with the doctor today," he says nodding, "we'll be back before midnight," he says removing his hat and fidgets with it. 

"Okay, we'll be alright"

"Kay" he nods his head before smiling at Seohyun, "you guys have fun"

Jaehyun walks into the kitchen, placing his hat on the counter before dragging a chair to sit down. "Hey" Hyeko's warm voice reaches his ears as she places her hands on his shoulders, massaging slightly. "Hey" he responds, smiling a little as he squeezes her hand. "Rough day chief?" she chuckles lightly, "yeah, you could say that, Sechan messed up the FIRs and I had to teach them how to be a goddamn cop again, I don't understand where they pick up these recruits, I mean Jesus, our kid Taehyung could become a cop as well at this point" he groans as Hyeko chuckles at him rambling, "well, Busan has chief Kim to save the day so I wouldn't worry too much if I were you"

"And then there's these goddamn bunch of pricks"

"What do you mean"

"The kids, Jungkook and his group of pricks"

"Now I know you know better than to pick on kids-

"They're not kids, they're demon spawns, they're smug, they're arrogant, they think they know it all but they don't realize how-

"Yes yes yes, I know, but take it easy on them, you know how it is in the streets here, come on now, fetch Jihoo, I think he's on the tree again," she says walking towards her room laughing.

We walk them outside the door as we watch dad start the car,

"Bye Jihoo" I yell, grabbing his attention as he sits in the backseat of the car.

"Goodbyeee!" he yells joyously.

"Buddy you don't say goodbye when you're going out, you say bye," Taehyung says ruffling his head through the window. "Yeah, goodbyes are for permanent separation," I say, chuckling at Jihoo's puzzled expression before he murmurs incoherently. "Be careful kiddo" Seohyun says smiling at him as he waves at everyone. "Alright now, let's get going," dad says nodding his head at Hyeko seated in the passenger seat next to him before driving out the main gate, luke still waving back at us till the car disappears out of our sight.

"Alright now ladies" Taehyung turns back to face us as I regard him suspiciously. "Listen, I have plans today so I won't be back until 8, do me a favor and don't tell dad about this okay?" he explains with a hand on his hip, trying to be stern.

"Where are you going?" Seohyun asks, I just noticed how messy her hair has gotten after staying in bed all day. "I made plans with my friends, can't ditch them to babysit you both" he sighs dramatically making me scoff, "we don't need you to babysit us".
