Saving Edward.

Jacob called me.  For a second I didn't answer him.

But I am glad that I did.

He said that Bella jumped off a cliff. That he had showed her a while back some other guys doing it for kicks.  But that she almost drowned.

I waste no time in driving over to my old home in the car that I recently bought for myself. (imagine your own dream car)

When I get there, I rush inside, and see Bella in the kitchen with Jacob.  Before I can stop myself, I run by her side and hug her.  She instantly hugs me back, and I know that there is still apologize to do, but this feels like such a great start. 

I hear the phone ringing,  but when it stops two seconds later, I think nothing of it.  That is until I hear Jacob mentioning a funeral.  Right.  Dad went to his friends funeral. 

I remember being told that was today.

Bells doesn't seem to be focusing on that though.  

"Jacob, who was that?"

He doesn't answer and just turns away.  

The pieces in my mind click together, and I rush to the phone, hoping to call back the number.

While Bells continues to interrogate Jacob, soon resulting in an argument, I hear someone at the door. I look between the door and the phone.

I drop the phone and head to the door.  Alice stands in front of me, and I see the fear in her eyes.

"Where's Bella?" 

"In the living room. Why?"

She sighs in relief, and comes insides.  I move and close the door after her. 

Alice is here. Does that mean the others are as well?

I catch a conversation happening in the living room, but before I can get there, Alice and Bells are rushing to the front door. 

I open it quickly, grab my jacket, and follow them outside.  I catch snippets of what is happening, and mainly process Edward and death. 

Alice stops dead in her tracks and turns to me.  I barley stop in time, catching myself from falling. 

"You must stay here. He will hear your thoughts.  And every positive outcome I see has you staying here, while Bella comes with me."

 I open my mouth to say something, but Jacob rushes past me, attempting to stop Bells from leaving with Alice. 

Well it looks like no matter what happens, I stay here.
