Hi, my names Sharen. I live in Los Angeles California. I was born April 17th 1988. My parents who always followed the rules always thought I'd be the angel child. Well.. Jokes on them. Anyways. It's a beautiful Monday morning, summer has come to an end and I'm starting high school today. My parents except good grades and for me to find a rich man and marry him. (I get close to it, you'll understand what I mean later on) As my alarm sings loudly in my room, I wake up feeling refreshed, my crystal blue eyes search the room looking forward. I see my makeup desk with my favourite mirror. I twirl my pale fingers into my blonde locks as I turn my body to the side letting my feet gently touch the cold grey carpet. I walk over to the mirror and get ready, humming Where Is My Mind by the Pixies, It's always been a favourite of mine. As I hear my mother call my name from down the hall, I grab my outfit, a pink and white flower dress. I slip it on and head down the hall to where my mother is. "Yes?" I answer as I see my mother cleaning up the covers to where my father and her sleep. "Your father has a very important business meeting once you arrive home from school, please be kind and keep quiet." She replied. I nod and walk downstairs. Our house isn't what everyone excepts I live in, it's a mansion and I hate it. I mean I shouldn't complain but it's just my family acts like they don't have enough money for anything when really in reality they do. I see my dad in his favourite chair reading the news paper in the living room. "Morning sweetie." He speaks with a pipe in his mouth. "Morning dad." I reply as I walk into the kitchen where our maid is cleaning the dishes from last night. I walk over to the coffee maker and start making a brew. The maid walked over. "I can do that." She says as I shake my head and smile. "You do enough for my family, I can make the coffee." I reply and pour the steaming hot coffee into a mug and take a sip. I watch the maid go back to cleaning the dishes as I sigh. My father is always so harsh on the poor lady. I always feel so bad. Next thing I know
my mother is in the kitchen asking the maid to go finish up their room. I soon grab my bag and walk out the door to our driver who drives us everywhere. "I can walk, I like walking to school." I say as the driver approaches me and pats my shoulder. "Oh Sharen, you always are so polite." He chuckles. Really I hate taking the limo to school, it's way too formal and I hate being a show off. I smile at him and soon start walking in the direction of my school. I grip my backpack as I start getting closer to the school. Soon I walk into the hallways that are cluttered with people. I see the one kid who always gets bullied and the popular jock who bullies him arguing in the hallways. I decide to walk up to them and push the jock away. "It's really not attractive seeing a donkey like you acting as if you own the place." I speak proudly as the jock looks at me. He looks so familiar but I just can't wrap my finger around it. I notice a teacher walking our way. Mr. Mendes, is his name. "Blanchard and Sanders, into the office right now." He spoke with a voice that could attract any female in the room. I watch as the two boys leave and there I am standing right in front of the most beautiful man in the whole school. "Hello O'Riley." He speaks as I freeze up. "It's Sharen." I reach my hand out and shake his. I notice a ring. Maybe he's married? He seems very professional at his job, I like it. Soon the bell rings and I'm off to class. I usually sit beside my friend Rosalie. Her and I were talking before my eyes went and landed on that handsome man. "Good morning class, I'm Christopher Mendes but please call me Mr Mendes." His voice was so addicting to my ears. It was like your favourite actor walked into the room and read his lines perfectly. I was memorized and even a little zoned into him. My friend Rosalie noticed me being a little too distracted as she nudged me and I left my little dream world. It wasn't even a second I was back in my little dream world thinking about my little prefect life with Mr Mendes.. Even his last name sounded so.. Delicious. There was this one song that played in my head whenever he walked around his desk. A familiar song started to play in my head and boy was my little day dream getting spicy. The song was called Do Ya Think I'm Sexy by Rod Stewart. I was started to sweat a little and my heart beat was speeding. Before I knew it, he was right in front of me. "Sharen, are you okay?" He asked in a soft tone as I instantly shook the dream off and cleared my throat. "Just fine Sir." God was I flustered from that dream. So much was going through my head and honestly I was so lost on what the class was doing I decided to grab my books out and my journal that I journaled all my work on. Mr Mendes laughed in a soft tone and handed me his book and pointed to the page number we were going to read. His hands were so perfect and how his fingertips gently caressed the page of the book. I was hooked on my teacher.
