Let's skip a little ahead to 3 years from now. Both Cameron and Kaser are now 3 years old and very active with each other. I wanted my parents to meet the boys now that they were a little older. I invited them over to Shelby's for dinner but my dad was hesitant at first and it was awhile since I last saw both my parents. The doorbell rang and I opened it and there they were. "Hello." I said with no emotion. They walked in and saw the boys playing. My dad ignored them and went right into the kitchen as my mother looked sad and she hugged me. "I'm so sorry sweetie, I never wanted this." She whispered as I shrugged it off. "I only invited you two over so you could meet the boys, I may not trust you anymore but I want them to know what you two looked like." I said as my mother walked over to them and sat on the couch. "What are these beautiful boys names?" She asked as I told her their names. Cameron was playing with some alphabet boxes and Kaser was trying to walk on his own but landed on his bum each time. I walked into the kitchen to where my father was. "Drinking already? It's not even five o'clock yet." I sighed. "Why cant you just let me be who I want to be." I said as he looked at me. "Because you're a disappointment to this family, you broke our rules and never listened, you were never like our Cameron." When he said that I felt my whole body hurt. I decided to laugh it off. "And Cameron was a good child? I loved Cameron and will always love him.. But he wasn't always the angel child." I snarled. "You know, I named my kids after Cameron and grandpa Kaser because those two were my two favourite people in this world. Your dad cared for me, so did Cameron." I crossed my arms as my father walked closer. "Your grandpa would act the same way if he heard you got pregnant at fifteen." He shoved me out of the way and walked over to the boys. "You both will be put in a foster home before you know it." He said drunkly and sat down laughing. That's when I had enough. "Get out." I said pointing to the door. "Get out now and stay away from my boys." I yelled. Cameron wasn't good with me yelling which caused him to start crying. My parents both left as I walked over to Cameron picking him up holding him close while I started kissing his cheeks giving his stomach raspberries. "Mommas got you sweetheart." I kissed his cheek. Cameron looked at me and giggled. "I.. I love you momma." He said as I smiled. He struggled with saying love it sounded more like wove but I still loved it. I picked Kaser up and walked them up to my room placing them on my bed and turned on the tv. Bugs Bunny was playing which was the boy's favourite show for now. I laid on the bed with both boys on my sides and we all watched the show. Some tears fell down my cheeks but I wiped them before the boys could even see anything. All I needed in my life was my two precious angels. I would do anything for my
boys. I looked down at both of them kissing both their tiny heads. Cameron had a little mind of his own and decided to crawl onto me and snuggled right in. "Leave space for your brother Cameron." I whispered and held both the boys close together. Soon enough we all had a little nap and once I woke up, it was super late out. I put the boys in their cribs that Shelby helped me get. I kissed their foreheads and went out on the balcony and let the cold air hit my face as I took a couple breaths before I went back inside and fell asleep. I had a peaceful sleep and my dream was also very peaceful. There was no more pain just happiness.
