We made our way to the bus stop and got on the bus to Streatham.

I was still shocked about me saying yes but figured I must still want to hang with him. I put my bag on the seat by the window and sat on the seat next to it so Alex couldn't sit next to me. He laughed and squeezed past me, picking up my bag and sitting down. I huffed.

"My bag was sitting there." I said nonchalantly.

"Your bag was sitting there?"

"Yes." I replied. He shook his head.

"You're hilarious." He looked out of the window and I screwed him. When we got to the Tesco, we switched to the 159. We got off at some place in central and I looked around.

"What're we doing here?" I asked.

"I want to show you how much I love you so I'm taking you on a shopping spree." He replied, walking ahead of me.

"Alex, spending money on someone doesn't show that you love them. It just shows that you have money."

"Well not in this case. Remember you told me you needed to go shopping a while back? How you had worn every outfit you own about 10 times? Well I'm going to spoil you today."

"I don't need you to spoil me Alex."

"Well I am anyway, come on." He grabbed my hand and dragged me towards these designer shops.

"Alex, I can't let you spend money on me so I definitely cant let you buy me designer stuff."

"Course you can."

"No!" I objected.

"Stop being so difficult, we're here now so we might as well." He dragged me into this shoe shop and I gasped.

The shop was beautiful. There was a chandelier handing from the ceiling. The walls were cream and the fresh looking carpet was a pale grey. The store was well lit with spotlights everywhere. A man in a black suit walked up to us. He reminded me of Randy from Say Yes To The Dress.

"Mr Smith, it's a pleasure to see you again." He shook Alex's hand with two hands and smiled at Alex.

"It's good to see you." Alex replied. The man looked at me and gasped.

"I assume this is the fine lady you were talking about." He smiled at me and Alex nodded. I smiled back politely and looked at Alex. He looked around the shop, avoidig eye contact.

"Oh, she is just stunning." The man said.

"Thank you." I blushed.

"You're welcome. It's nice to finally meet you." He said, kissing my hand. I shot Alex a glare but he was still avoiding eye contact. I nodded.

"We have the perfect shoes for you." He led us around the shop, and me being mad at Alex, wanted to break his wallet. I selected many shoes that I wanted, all priced over £500 each. My plan didn't really work as for some reason, he had enough money for them.

He took me to a clothes shop next door. I picked out a couple of jeans, tops, jackets, blazers, play and jump suits, hoping to embarrass him when he didn't have enough to pay for them all.

I made my way to the dresses and picked this gorgeous white bodycon midi dress. It was sleeveless but still had straps. It had a box neckline and a gold zip in the back. I decided to try it on and was surprised when I put it on. In the dressing room, the assistant told me how amazing I looked and I sheepishly agreed with her. I wanted to see myself in the big mirror and left the room to go and look. Alex was talking to one of the employees there but stopped and took two glances when he saw me.
