The tree house

I peek through the bushes and I see a boy, black jeans and a band t-shirt. Messy curly hair. I squint my eyes to get a better look. Oh. I recognize him and I step through the bushes, me of course having a lot of trouble. He looks over, his eyebrows furrowing at first but then he begins to laugh as he sees the state I'm in trying to get through the bushes, definitely not a good idea.

I finally step through, dusting all of the little leave specks off of my shirt.

"Damn it." I said when I realize that my bag isn't with me. I look over at the bush and I see it.
I quickly grab it, walking over to the handsome boy.

"Hey, again." I waved, sort of. He laughs and stuffs his hands in his pockets.

"You know this place?" He asked, walking closer to me. I nod.

"I'd always come here when I was child."

He nods, seeming as if he was interested.

"Follow me, I want to show you something." He smiled, grabbing my hand, pulling me where ever he was leading me.

We ran for about 2 minutes.

"Wow." was all that escaped my lips as I looked up at the large tree house.

"When did you find this?" I asked, looking him in his eyes. pure green.

"A couple days after I moved here." he shrugged. he started to climb up it and so did I.

When I get inside of it my eyes wandered around it. Who built this?

"I just chill up here sometimes, with a few friends of mine." he said, his eyes locked with mine. He placed his hands To the back of his head as if he were laying in sand. I sat cross legged, my elbows resting on my legs.

I was about to say something but Harry beat me to it.

"21 questions ?" He asked, I squint my eyes at him.

"Hm, eh no because I already know what that leads to, as in starting off with simple questions then the questions get a bit frisky like 'are you a virgin' and everything else." I laugh, him laughing along.

"I promise they'll just be simple questions, come on." He smiled, his dimples being a big distraction.

I sigh. "okay."

"Favorite color." he started.

"Pink and black."

"Where are you originally from?"

"Here, born and raised."

"On the playground was where I spent most of my days." He began to playfully sing. I get confused but then start to sing along.

"Chilling' out maxin' relaxing all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school."

"When a couple of guys, they were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighborhood,i got in one little fight and my mom got scared."

"She said you're moving with your auntie and uncle in bel air." I finished off laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. Harry's laugh was very delightful. Soon the laughter died down and we got back to questions.

"Full name ?"

"Rose Ann grace."

"Any siblings, parents names."

"Brother Steven, Michelle and Dave but they all-" I stopped mid sentence not wanting to go any further.

"They all what?" He asked.

"Uhm they all passed away." I gulped. Harry's face immediately fell.

"Oh, I'm sorry." He said.

"No, it's okay, let's just keep going. enough of me now I get to ask you questions." I sighed, some what laughing.

"Why'd you move here?" I asked.

"Issues, personal problems."

"Who do you live with?"

"My uncle."

"Why don't you live with your parents?"

"Because I wanted to move to the U.S."
....

I think I learned a bit about Harry. Im pretty sure I asked more than 21 questions. It was getting a bit dark outside.

"I should get home, don't want to worry Ariana." I said waiting on a reply from him.

"Yea, I should go too."

I got down out of the tree house first and I don't know why but I waited for him.

"You forgot your bag." He handed it to me, smirking. I mumble a 'thank you' as we walk.

We stop in front of my home.

"See you around, Grace."
