Chapter 1

A/N- First this is my first Harry Potter fanfic and this starts at the beginning of summer in the Order of the Phoenix . Melody and Tomas don't know the are wizards and have special powers (you will find out later).

Sarah's POV- right after Voldemort killed Lily and James.

I just left my children forever.

15 years later.

Melody's POV

"Mi-Mi, Mom says get up. We have to go to school!" I groan. I hate school. Everyone thinks I am a freak. No, everyone knows I am a freak.

"Mi-Mi get up!"

"I am coming Tom, just hold on!" I roll out of bed and take a quick shower. I throw on some shorts and a spaghetti strap shirt with converse. Put a little lipgloss and mascara. Done. I run down the stair to find a mad brother.

"Hurry up and eat breakfast!" Mom says. I grab a piece toast and head out the door with my brother. We run to the bus and make it in time. I sit in the front while my brother goes to the back with his friends. How boys make friends so fast is a mystery to me?

(Time Warp- after school)

I text Tom, my twin that I won't be home until 6 and to tell mom. After that I walk into the woods. I always come here when I need time to myself. I don't now why but I feel like I am free when I am in the woods. I lay down under a tree and the sun is in my eyes. All of a sudden the tree branch grows so the sun isn't in my eyes. I bolt straight up and run to the lake. Most people say hat this lake was where a monster lives but I disagree. Every time I come here it is so peaceful. I strip down and take out my bikini from my bag. I always have it just in case. I dive in and instantly I am relaxed. I don't need to come up for air because I can hold my breath underwater longer than any other 15 year old can. I go a bit deeper than I was supposed to, and I see something shiny. I swim to in and touch it. I glows at my touch. I reflexes kick in and I pull back. I swim up to shore and it is black outside. I take out my IPhone and check what time it is. It is 9. 9 my mom is going to kill me, and then my brother. I run back to the house and I am engulfed in hugs. My mom is in tears and so is my brother.

"I was so worried about you I thought I wouldn't see you again."

"Shhh it ok mom. I am right here no harm done I just went for a swim and lost track of time."

"NO HARM DONE I WAS ABOUT TI CALL THE POLICE! NO HARM DONE-" I hugged him before he could say another word. I have the best brother in the world. He can be over protective a lot but he is really sweet.

"Hey I know I said I would be back by 6, but something amazing happened. I was wishing for a tree branch to grow and it did, then I can hold my breath for 3 hours under water." My mother gasped. She started to sob. We both ran over to her.

"Mom what is wrong?" We nigh say at the same time.

"Don't call me that, I don't deserve it."

"What are you saying mom? Of course who deserve it!"

"No I don't, I am not even your mother!"

"What?!" We both say at the same time again.

"I am not who I say I am and their are secrets that you don't know about!"

"Then tell us, please."

"Alright, a long time ago your mother gave me to you because you were in grave danger you don't know what happened because you were very very little because you were in fact just born but that didn't stop your mother from keeping you safe so she gave you to me her best friend. That night she also lost her best friend Lily and Lily's husband James. They have a son but I don't know where he is, but probably at Hogwarts or something but I'm very sorry I didn't tell you. As for you Melody you have the double charm. The double charm lets you control elements as well as nature. You can also move objects with your mind. And you Tomas, you can block spells and magic and create shields. You also be invisible. These are powers only great witches and wizards possess and do you have them I am so proud to have brought you up, but now it is time for you to go to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.
