Chapter 15

HARRY'S POV WHEN HE LEAVES MELODY IN THE ROR

She's meeting someone.

Why is she meeting someone? Is it a guy? Who is he? Why doesn't she meet up with me? I mean yes, she is completely gorgeous and would never fall for a simple guy like me, but I can't help but have hope that somewhere in her, she thinks of me as a little more than a best friend, if I'm even hers anymore.

Tom will know who she's meeting up with right. Of coarse! They tell each other everything. Or at least they used to.

I walk back to the common room, hoping that Tom will be in there.

"Hello Harry." Luna Lovegood says to e as she starts to walk with me.

"Hello Luna." I say back. There is a silence.

"He's in the Great Hall by the way." Luna says dreamily.

"What?!" I answer.

"Tom, that's who your looking for, correct?" she asks hopefully. I stop at turn to look at her.

"How did you manage that?" I ask.

"Well, when I first saw you, you looked almost heartbroken, and that means someone has your heart. Who other than Melody would you even consider, other than Cho Chang of coarse. And I'm betting your looking for her, since she's not in the castle, and who other than her dear brother Tomas would know her whereabouts." She spilled.

"Wow. Am I that obvious?" I said astonished because she read me like an open book.

"Not at all. Actually the Nargles told me she might be somewhere in the castle hiding because it would be the least likely place to hide of coarse." She told me slyly. I feinted surprise.

"Really! Do they have any idea where she is?" I asked with fake ambition. She saw right through me though.

"I believe you know where she is. But your worried about her aren't you? That or your completely in love with her." She said

"Who's Harry completely in love with?" Tom asked, popping out of nowhere.

"No-one" I said while Luna said "Melody."

"What was that? I couldn't catch it ." He said.

"Melody" I said while Luna said "No-One."

"You know what? Never mind. Forget I even asked." he said clearly annoyed that he couldn't understand us and suspicious of who I was in love with - I mean

"HELLO!!! EARTH TO HARRY POTTER! THE BOY WHO LIVED!!!! HELLO?" Tom was screaming. I jumped. "Well finally mate. What happened there? Dreaming about a certain someone?" He wiggled his eye brows. My head snapped up. "SO it is about a girl! This is going to be fun!" I blushed and he started laughing like the idiot he is.

"Whatever." I said. "Hold on. Where'd Luna go?" I asked looking around. Tom stopped laughing and looked at me worriedly.

"Didn't you hear her?" He asked worriedly. I started to get angry.

"Well I wouldn't be asking if I did would I?" I snapped. He looked hurt for a moment and smiled sadly.

"Before Luna said she left, she told me you were looking for me? What did you need?" He asked and I immediately cooled off thinking about Melody. I blushed and he smiled.

"I was just wondering if you knew who Melody was meeting in the Room of Requirement this afternoon." I asked shyly. He looked surprised and his eyes widened.

"She's here? In the castle? Right now?" He asks quickly. Something was wrong. Tom told me that Melody was in the castle because she told him. Either someone obliviated Tom, or this wasn't Tom at all.

"Yeah. She was wearing the green necklace she's always wearing. You know, the one you gave her for her birthday." I said suspiciously.

"Oh yeah! The green necklace! she said something bout it earlier but she didn't tell me who she was meeting." he answered back.

"Alright. Thanks anyway. Wanna go back to the common room?" I asked.

"Sure." was all he said.

We entered the common room to find Ron and Hermione arguing. Perfect.

"Stupify!" I yelled at 'Tom'. It hit him straight in the back.

"Harry! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?" Yelled Hermione.

"It not him. I asked him a question about Melody and he got it wrong." I said.

"That's no reason! Maybe he had just forgotten or something!" she said rushing over to him.

"Ron. What color is Melody's necklace." I asked.

"Blue of coarse! How could I forget! Almost stabbed me in the eye for touching it!" he exclaimed.

"Exactly, and if you that, how could he forget it was blue. As a test I said it was green and he agreed. Its not him. It's someone else." I said fiercely. Hermione took his head and opened his mouth and smelled him breath. She's grimaced at the smell. She looked at me and said, "Harry's right Ron. I can smell the Polyjuice potion on his breath." I gave a triumphant smile.

"Then I guess we'll just have to keep him or whoever this is stunned until they turn back into themselves again." Ron said.

"We'll also have to obliviate them because I told them Melody was in the Room of Requirement." I added to Ron. Hermione nodded.

"We'll have to hide him somewhere though. I mean, won't it look a little suspicious with Tomas laying on the ground." Hermione said intelligently.

"We could put him in the boys dormitory because girls can go upstairs, but the guys cant go up the girls staircase." I said.

"How do you know that?" Hermione asked.

"A very rude awakening from the not so sweet princess of Hogwarts." Ron answered for me.

"What did she- you know what, I don't even want to know." Hermione laughed. Ron and I both smiled and laughed as well.

"Alright. Harry you get him legs. I got his arms." Ron said as he started walking over to 'Tom'.

"What should I do?" Hermione asked us.

"Well you could help us or watch so nobody sees. Your choice." Ron says. Hermione groans and starts helping us carry him up the stairs. When we finally reach our dormitory, we set him on my bed and Hermione ties him up with invisible ropes. We don't have to wait long until his faces starts to change.

"You." I say and a wave of anger comes flushing through me.
