I was planning on what I was going to do in my mind. There was something I was going to regret, but I didn’t want to even think of it. My wolf told me to just barge in there and demand to know why, but my plan was going to work. Because I have Sorel, and he said he'll help. He might not even like it, but it was my choice. I ended up letting my instinct take over and barged right in. Father just looked at me, while I stood there with my arms crossed. He stopped what he was doing, and looked at me with those bright red eyes. I had a feeling I pissed him off because those were father’s alpha eyes. We just looked at each other with fierceness in our eyes until I started the conversation. Before I did I sent a link message to Sorel just in case something happened, which was about to happen.

“Father, why are you going to send Axel away?”

“What makes you say that?”

“Don’t ask me questions. Answer the question,” I said starting to lose my patience.

“Now who do you think you’re talking to young lady? Besides it doesn’t matter if I answer you or not. I am your leader and your father. You do not demand me to do anything or I will have no choice to punish you.”

“It doesn’t matter because what’s about to happen will end our relationship.”

“Rayne, what are you thinking right now?”

In no time flat Sorel came in, distracted father, and I transformed while pinning down father in the process. My gut told me to finish him, but my heart said do it for Axel. Sorel had a firm grip on father’s throat while I tore him to shreds. I could hear father say why are you doing this very faintly, but I ignored it while I killed him. My own father was dead, and I was the one that did it. Of course that increased my powers since I’m the one that did it. Now I'm the leader of this pack. Sorel voluntarily disposed of father’s body, and I thanked him for it so I didn’t have to.

“Speak of this to no one. Please,” I told him before he left.

“I promise.”

When Sorel walked out the door I saw Ricky standing in the hall. He must’ve stood guard while Sorel came in, and I was happy that Sorel took charge of that. I looked in a mirror and saw my fur covered in father’s blood. This was going to be hard to get off being a pure white wolf.  It seemed to come back at me like nonstop flashes. I left the room, and ran upstairs to my room so I could take a shower. Not only was the blood everywhere, but the stench of him reeked which made me want to barf. In a way I didn’t feel any emotion when I did that. No regret, sadness or anything went through my mind. Maybe I only did it for Axel or was it because my mind was full of anger. Everything happened so fast that my day, which felt like it lasted forever, was lingering.

Hours passed while I stayed in my room, on my bed, staring at the ceiling. I was surprised that no one came in, even Sorel. All I wanted was for today to end and another day to start. But it was only 5:30 in the afternoon. Now what can I do to pass the time? I wasn’t sleepy so that was out of the question. My mind was somewhere else, and I couldn’t focus on anything. In the end, I chose to get up and at that moment I just remembered Axel. Now that a certain someone was out of the picture, Axel was free to do what he wanted. When I got to the dungeon, Axel was lying next to the bars sleeping. Poor thing was waiting for my return. I got my trusty claw nail out and unlocked the door, and at the same time Axel jumped up with me in a tight embrace. Tears went down Axels’ cheek, and I tried to hold back mine. This time Axel didn’t push away; he was showing how much I’ve done for him by holding me for a while. We were still in an embrace when we talked.

“Axel, father isn’t here anymore, so you’re free to do anything you want.”

“Really? What happened? Thank you so much! I don’t know what I could do to show how much gratitude I have for you right now.”

“You don’t have to do anything, but if you want to it’s your choice. I’m not going to make you do anything. It's best that you focus on you right now.”

This was an emotional moment for the both of us, then Sorel showed up with some news. He told me that everyone was in a panic to how father had mysteriously descended. Well, my job as the new leader just started and I wasn’t sure how it was going to go. So many thoughts and questions filled my mind once again. Dreading how this is going to pan out.
