You've spent a whole week in Asgard, and it has been a fantastic week. You've become good friends with Thor's friends, The Warrior Three - Hogun, Fandral, Volstagg, and Lady Sif. However, you've become the closest with Lady Sif, she said it's because you're the new outsider, and since she knows what that feels like, she's able to show you the ropes of what it's like, and you are so grateful to her for being so kind and understanding about your lack of knowledge on things.

You've also done things on your own time, like playing the piano in the music room, reading the few English books in the library, and also keeping up with your training in the training room, something you do to stay in shape, and also because you can hear Steve's annoying military voice yelling at you to keep up with your training or else he would do the equivalent of kill you in training.

You honestly did have a lot of fun the past week, the only thing missing from the whole experience was Loki. You could never keep track of him, you would always ask Thor if he had seen Loki, and if Thor said that he had, you would go to where Thor said he was. The fact that Loki had been avoiding you these last few days hurt, you had been away from him for so long, and you finally had him back, yet, he doesn't want to be with you, and you're starting to believe that it's because of what you had said to him.

Those three words keep replaying in your mind like a broken record, "I love you, I love you, I love you..."

You've even started having dreams about it. It would always start the same, Loki conjures the beautiful dress for you, you would run up to him, hugging him tightly, and when you would utter those three words, Loki pulls you away, looking at you in disgust, "Do you think I could ever love a stupid mortal such as yourself?" he would ask, you would look at him with wide eyes, trying to comprehend what he had just said. When you tried to reach for him again he would only push you to the ground, calling you worthless, and silly for ever believing that he was in love with you. Every night it would end the same, you would shoot up in cold sweat, reaching your arms for a god who wasn't even there, and every night, when you realized you were alone, you would start to sob, all alone, with no one to hold you.

--------------------------------------------

It had officially been two weeks in Asgard, and two weeks without Loki. You had asked Thor to speak to him for you. Every time, when Thor came back to you, he always said the same thing, "He is constantly in meetings with the Allfather, our mother tells me that he is fighting with the Allfather, but she will not tell me what it is." you can tell Thor is genuinely sorry, he can see how much it hurts whenever he comes back with the same news.

Thor tries his best to cheer you up though, always taking you on a new adventure, battling you in the ring, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, he's taken you across the rainbow bridge many times, each time more enchanting than the last. Thor has walked with you through the gardens and has read with you in the library, he's even started helping you learn Icelantic.

You know that he is just trying to distract you from Loki's absence, and as grateful as you are that he is doing so, your mind always wanders back to the missing god, and your heart always hurts whenever you think about it.

--------------------------------------------

One evening, you are sitting in the library, trying to read a children's book in Icelantic, when Thor bursts through the door, scaring you half to death, "Lady Y/N get your kjóll on, we are going out!" he says, grabbing the book from your hands, "What do you mean 'going out?" you ask, "We are going to take you to one of the best pubs in all of Asgard." Thor says with a fat grin on his face, you look at him, eyebrows raised, "Alright." you say, getting up from the chair you were sitting in, "Just give me about 45 minutes, and I'll meet you guys out front." there is a look of victory in his eyes.

You head to your original sleeping quarters, a place you only visit when you need to change, you rummage through the closet to try and find a dress fit for going out. You decide on the light purple dress with flowers and butterflies dancing across the dress, the sleeves off the shoulder, there is a ribbon in the back of the dress that you tighten, and you have some ribbons in the front of the dress that you tie as well.

You decorate your naked neck and wrists with jewelry, and as you are slipping on some bracelets, you see that bracelet that Loki gave to you before you got taken away. A lump forms in your throat, and you can feel that twinge of pain rising in you again, but you do everything in your power to not allow yourself to feel that pain.

You finish getting ready, tying a matching ribbon in your hair in a neat half-up, half-down style, and you slip on a pair of matching lace-up sandals and check yourself in the mirror. You stud the way your hair falls over your shoulder, the way your necklaces sit on your chest, and the jewels shimmering with each breath you take, you look at your dress, taking in its beauty, and the way it shapes and hugs your body perfectly.

Your mind starts to think about Loki, what he would've thought or said about your dress, the way he would've touched your hair, or held your body, you started to miss him again, more than you did when you weren't thinking about him. You feel your ears burn, and your vision starts to blur with tears. You blink your eyes, and the feelings away, and take a deep breath before exiting your room.
