Chapter 3/Forest Attack

(Erens POV)

As we entered the forest already it sent chills throuh my body and Armin's. It had trees that were almost the size of my kingdoms walls and had bones of people laying around. With they sky almost blocked off by all the thickness of the leaves on the trees it was no wonder why nothing grew on the bottom ground.

We slowed down a bit to look around. It seems that around us it was completely dark with barley any sun light going through the trees. I felt Armin hold on tighter to me in fear. He has always been afraid of this place ever since that day.

(Flashback)

When I was just a younger prince of 10 Armin's parents would venture through the forest and come back with amazing tasting foods of different colors and shapes. One of them would be a heart shaped type of fruit that was red named: Apple. And then another would be a brown type thing called: Coco Beans.

That is until one day they went into the forest with me and Armin. As we went deeper into the forest we were attacked by two evil creatures known as, Lust and Greed. They had black wings with deep red eyes surrounded by black.

They ate them right in front of him. I thank fully had my knife with me so I threw it at Lust's eye.

"Arrrrrhhhhhhhaaaaaa!!!!!!!"It screeched and I grabbed Armins hand and ran away.

"Mommy, daddy!!"he yelled from behind me. They chased us until we finally left the forest and they stopped and left.

(End Of Flashback)

"Hey Armin?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you thinking about your parents death?"I asked.

"Y-yes......I miss them so much....and....it pains me every day of my life to know I couldn't do anything to save them (like in the anime)."he said starting to cry into my back.

"Shhhh shhh, its okay Armin. You were to scared to do anything even I was but I had to power through in order to save you"I soothed.

It was hard for him. I could understand that, someone like him was going through so much in his life with all his kin dying.

"Hey Armin"

"Yes, my lord?"

"You are my best friend and ally. I know that you are my family and I will always protect you, so that you still one piece of family with you in your life"I said and he stopped crying.

"I admire your niceness, lord Eren. Thank you for those meaningful words"he said and I smiled.

"Eren look out!"he yelled and I saw arrows being fired at me from the darkness in front of me.

I raised my shield and defected the arrows from killing me and Armin. The darkness then fired flaming arrows. I used my shield again and blocked them. I raised my sword and rode faster into the darkness. I swung at the arrows slicing them to pieces. I finally reached a light area fully of torches. There was no one around except a cute white hare.

"Well hello little-"it then had an arrow shot through his head, killing it on the spot with blood flying everywhere including a bit on Freedom and me.

I looked over to where the arrow was shot and saw one of the seven sins, Ğřěęð. It had a eye that looked as if it was cracked with a crooked smile that shown shark-like teeth. Armin coward in fear but I raised my sword and gave my shield to Armin to protect himself. I knew that from when I was younger I wanted to the one to kill all the seven sins.

(Flashback)

"Mother!"I yelled in joy as i defected an attack from my moms knife with my small shield.

"Yes dear, did I hurt you?!"she asked and I chuckled.

"No, I want to be a hero like father!"I said.

"And how do you plan on doing that?"she said and swing the knife low at my feet bit I jumped up dodging it.

"By slaying the seven sins my self!"I said in pride.

"Well you know they are very strong to defeat. I think its best we wait a bit until you grow older to become a true hero"

(End Of Flashback)

Ever since that day I vowed to be the one to kill each and everyone of those monsters so that the forest will regain its power of amazement and lose its power of fear.

"You!!"I yelled.

"That's right, its me! The one you saw when you were just a little mortal"she said.

"Its time I finish what we started!"I said.

"Awwwww do you really want to kill me? Okay but I have something to show you first!"she said and took out a long sword from her dress and spun it around in the air.

"Dum ,du du du ,dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum , du du du, dum dum dum dum dummmmm!!!!"she said and raised a blade that had a sharp yet curved hook look end to it. It was a olive green color with a big orange gem at the center of her handles sword.

"This is the sword of Greed! And I, Hanji Zöe, am the seventh sin, Ğřěęð!!"she said. She wore a wavy type of hood that had Long sleeves, a cape like appearance and a hood on her back. It was a deep greenish color and it covered her whole body as it swon together to cover everything.

"Its time I kill you for killing my friends parents!"I said and got off my horse and held my sword in my hands.

"Woe, that sword is amazing, I just hope are battle is as well"she said and swung her sword but I blocked his with mine.

I then swung low at her feet but she ran back words. I swung at her head but she dodged it and slide her sword against mine as we came closer until I ducked and lunged at her chest with my sword at her neck.

"Nope!"she said and stopped me from stabbing her by using her sword to block her neck.

"I sometimes wish to be a mortal so I can have all the amazement of being worthless like you!"she said and punched my face, making me stumble back but I regain my balance.

"You horrid women!"I said and sung my blade at her neck. Slicing it causing a large amount of black blood to spray all over.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!"she screamed so I stabbed her open wound causing my blade to go fully through her neck and back out the other way.

"Arragggarraga"she said

"Off with your head"I cut her head off fully and I fell to ground along with her body. I grabbed her head and held it high so that Armin could see it.

"One down, six more to go"I said and stabbed my sword through her eye.
