Chapter 10/Surprise Visit

(Erens POV)

They left the room and soon we all came out are hidden areas. Armin looked frightened and Annie looked as if ready to fight a monster the size of a tree.

"I want to see what these demons are doing"Annie said and opened the door downstairs. We followed behind and walked carefully.

"This is not a good idea" I stated.

"I know its not"She said and we reached the end of the stair way. We looked around to see a large room that was lit up with white candles with black furniture.

We walked around and found a gate entrance. It was large and had some sort of upside down star. It was made in blood and dripped down the door.We pushed the door open to unleash the hot air of the outside. We stepped out and slowly closed it back again then ran away. We ran for miles until we stopped for air. I gasped as well as Armin. I sat down on a pink rock while Armin lied on the yellow sand. We were very far away from the castle tower that you could barley see it in the distance. Annie stood and closed her eyes.

"We should head back to that underground area"She said bluntly.

"I agree, this place is very dangerous as it seems"Armin questioned.

"Besides the sky is turning a very unpleasant color I assume is of the night. Not only that but those clouds do not seem pleasant either"She said.

"Fair enough"I stated. I looked into the distance to see a monument of a half man half lion creature that was made out of iron.

This place is very strange and unique...it felt very...very...familiar. Almost as if I've been here before. I didn't know how to put it but his place reminds me of...a person-no a group of people that-

"Eren!! Come on we have to go now!"I shook my head as I realized I was day dreaming to see Armin running away with Annie behind. I turned around to see those black crystals that attacked us before. I started to run away from the emerging dangers as they grew from the ground once more.

These things came up far faster than before with some growing on top of each other making things much tighter. As we weaved throughout the maze of impending death I was loosing sight of Armin and Annie. The rods of shimmering darkness surrounded me and wouldn't stop rising. I found my self having to jump from one to another as they rose taller. I regained my view of them but they seemed to be in the same situation I was in before. I grabbed onto one of the rising peaks and shouted out at them.

"Armin, Annie! Jump from their rising sides to another and keep going!"They turned to look at me with worry in their faces. I could tell Armin was fearful yet Annie was annoyed. She backed up and then ran onto the rising crystal. She started to jump and slide from the behemoths as if she did this one hundred times before while Armin lagged behind.

Soon after a few more mountains rising, the crystals started to stop growing. The sky turned a beautiful lavender as a bright shinning light from the cave out yonder. I wondered what could that possibly be until the entire cavern blew out rubble and I could make out a figure. We all made it to the end of the crystals near the cave, all while a unknown silhouette emerged from the dust.

I could barely make out what who or what it was until I saw the most unexpected person.
