Chapter 3 " Human "

                                  {Zen's POV}

As I watch her laugh I notice the little mole on her neck. I sneeze and walk up to her and inspect it.

She doesn't know that I can turn into a human and I have yet to tell her...in that form.

We met when we were young and since then we've "been attached at the hip" as that song goes.. she named me Zen when I was young and because of my mother dying when I was birthed I was never given a name because my father went into a depression and continued the rest of his life as a human instead. I was the only child that lived when my mother birthed us in her wolf form.

                              {Asder's POV}
As I walked through the cave I noticed a couple things, how there's a million little wolf hairs all over the place, skeleton bones, and rabbit skulls.

I wonder if Zen used to live here with his pack when he was born, I could ask but there's no way to tell if he'll respond considering that's something I've never asked him about.

I look at the glowing gems and vines,  and quickly pull on the vines and make two beds for me and Zen under the brightest gem. I motion for him to come over and ask him to see how nice it is and he nods, which I'm assuming means it's fine.

I walk over to my bags and take out a pillow and a blanket and go to sleep.

The next morning I ask Zen what he think he would feel like if he was human, he quickly looked at me and tilted his head, he probably has never thought of that considering being a wolf would be amazing.

I turn and look in my bag and grab my last piece of stolen jerky and sausage while I give Zen his last piece of chicken. I savor the heat of the jerky and the juices of the sausage and quickly grab my stolen water bottle and drink it.

I get up and go over to my bed to fix it up and suddenly I get rolled over by Zen wanting to rough house, I start laughing as he licks me.
