"Vanessa I can explain-"
"No you lied. you never told me any of these things, and you barely tell me now? Wait no you didn't tell me, the paper did! Even my own my mom thought something was wrong with you. And I can't believe I actually believed you"
"You wouldn't understand" he cried
"No I probably wouldn't, but it seems that you think I'd use you for fame isn't? Or maybe you just didn't want me asking you for little things and using you for money?" I said as he stood silent. "wow you really thought of me in that way uh?"

"No don't call me that, in fact don't call me at all" I said, as much as it hurt it had to be said
"Vanessa I only did it to protect you" he said with tears in his eyes
"From getting hurt? Don't worry Brooklyn you did that on your own" I said. "good-bye and I hope I never see you again "

"What are we exactly?" I asked
"What do you mean?" He asked
"I mean like are we a couple or are we just friends, with benefits?" He laughed at the last part
"What do you want to be" he said he grabbed my hand making me sit on his lap, but instead I sat on my bed
"I don't know, I mean I want to but I don't wanna ruin our friend ship" I shrugged
"Ok how about this, I will take you on a date Saturday by then you'll know what you want" he smiled
"I'd like that" I smiled tempted to give him a kiss

Saturday
I'm excited for today! Today is the day I go on date with Brooklyn!
I call my mom in to see what I should wear and she chose something out for me.
"Thank you mom" I said looking at the outfit
"Not a problem, I mean I like Brooklyn and he's a nice boy"
"Mom is there maybe a chance that maybe me and Brooklyn can get married and have kids of our own?" I asked
"Ness your 14 and a freshman in high school don't you think your a little too young to be thinking of that?" She asked, "wait your not having sex are you?"
Mom! I'm 14" I said, "and anyways I'm not Amy Jergons who has a baby at 15 or 14" I said
"Who" my mom asked
"She's from a show. or more likely a fiction character on the show" I said
"I wasn't saying your having a baby, I'm switching the subject" she said. "Where's Brooklyn taking you?"
"I don't know, he wanted it to be a surprise" I said
"Ahh, who's driving the both of you" she said
"He said he has someone to take us" I said
"How does Brooklyn know people to drive him places?" She asked
"Mom" I groaned, "I thought you liked Brooklyn?"
"I do, but maybe he's not telling your things"
"What is that suppose to mean?" I asked
"Nothing. I'm just saying." she said
"Ok, I'll keep that in mind" I smiled
