with the increasing popularity of twice with their new song 'cheer up', you couldn't be happier to know one of the girls. you've always supported them all through whatever medium you could before life finally caught up with you.

trekking your way through massive school debt and moving into a new apartment, you've finally landed yourself into a semi-confortable position. working in a small photo studio, you made a decent living for yourself and you were content.

though you saw nayeon less and less, you were happy for her. you continued chasing your dreams, as did she but there was a melancholic feeling as you reminisced about it. there was never a missing moment where you didn't feel a hole in your heart from the lack of absence of her. why you felt that way, you don't know but you knew it was because of her and her alone.

as you laid down on the couch and turned on your television, your heart beat just a little faster when you saw her on screen. she was sat down cross legged with the other members of twice with a woman on the other side interviewing them. as she made her way down the line, she eventually reached nayeon.

"so nayeon, since this episode is about being grateful, do you have anything or anyone you're grateful for?"

"ah!" she looked towards the girls as she smiled brightly, "of course I'm grateful for my fellow members! they're like family to me but there is one more person I'm really grateful for. if they weren't here for me during my trainee days, i don't think i'd be here. so... thank you y/n. for everything. i hope we talk soon!"
