~Jack's POV~
"So, how'd you get so famous?" Gemma asks, taking a bite of her cake.
"Famous? You'd consider me famous?" I chuckle.
"I don't know. You had like fifty thousand viewers on stream earlier"
"Well to answer your question, I'm in this little group called the Dream SMP. You may have heard of them" I smile with a sarcastic tone in my voice.
"Really? That's actually really cool"
"It has it's highs and lows"
"I can imagine" she takes the last bite of her slice of cake.
"Ready to go?" I ask.
"Yeah"
I call the waiter over and ask for the check. I pull my wallet out and open it.
"You don't have to pay" Gemma says.
"Sure I do" I smile.
"You're not gonna let me pay are you" she sighs.
I shake my head no.
"Fine. But I'm paying next time"
"Sounds good to me" I shrug.
I pay for the food and we leave the diner, chatting about random stuff.
It was dark out, the streetlights illuminating the sidewalks. Our shadows copied us, slightly distorted. We walked to Scott and I's house, laughing about some stupid shit the whole time.
"Thanks for tonight. It was really fun" she similes, stopping at her car.
"No problem. We'll chat later about the treehouse thing" I smile back.
"Bye Jack" she gets in the car.
"Bye" I wave, going inside.
I walk in and see Scott, waiting for me with a smug look on his face.
"What?"
"Nothing. Just the fact you walked in with a massive grin on your face" he raises his eyebrows.
"So? I had fun" I shrugged.
"Of course you did. She's a lovely person and you have history and-"
"Oh my lord Scott. I hang out with one girl and you think I like her?" I cut him off.
"You'd be cute together"
"No" I walk to my room.
"Don't come running to me when you catch feelings and need help" he walks to his.
I go into my room, changing into something more comfortable. I turn my lights off and sit down on my bed, opening my laptop. I quickly close it and open my phone.
Gemma :)
