~Gemma's POV~
"Why is he sparkly?" Jack asks, taking a bite of his pizza.
"He's a vampire that's why" I shrug.
"That makes no fucking sense" he sighs.
"How much is left of the movie" I yawn.
"Probably like a half hour. You tired?"
"No" I lie and close my eyes.
"Ok" he chuckles.
The sound around me gets lower, and soon enough, I fall asleep.
~Time skip~
I hear rustling in the kitchen and open my eyes slowly. I look at the blanket that must have been put on me while I was asleep. I look next to me and I don't see Jack.
I stand up and wrap the blanket around me, walking to the kitchen groggily.
"Oh hello" Jack smiles, putting a plate into the cabinet.
"Why are you still here" I say, grabbing a bottle of water.
"You fell asleep so I put the blanket on you and went to do the dishes from dinner and the rest of the dishes in your sink" he smiles proudly.
"Oh, thank you. What time is it" I yawn.
"Around two AM" he states.
"Jeez...you should go home"
"I will, don't worry"
"I'm going back to bed" I sigh.
"Alright, text me when you wake up" he nods.
"I will" I smile.
"Bye Gem" he smiles and goes to his car.
"Bye" I say softly and go back to the couch.
By the time I would've walked to my room, I would've been fully awake, so I just went to the couch and laid down.
I couldn't sleep.
I frowned and sat up.
Oh my god.
I ran to my computer and opened discord, calling Ash.
"Gemma? What's up? Isn't like 2 in the morning for you?" they say after answering.
"Ash" I deadpan
"Yes, that's me?"
"I have come to a terrible revelation" I hold my face in my hands and groan.
