Rylee/Parker p.o.v

"I came to apologize." he said his lightly bruised eye let a tear slip. I know I'm not supposed to feel sympathy for him, but I've never been able to watch Li cry and not feel sorry.

I tried to shake off his tear, but I'm pretty sure he saw the sad look that ran across my features. I built up the courage to actually talk and ignore his sad look before I spoke.

"What exactly are you sorry for?" I asked folding my arms and raising my eyebrow.

"For hurting you, I didn't mean to I just got really upset that you were more excited to see Harry than you were me. It's been years since you've seen me and you weren't that excited." he frowned looking to the ground.

I know I shouldn't forgive him for anything that he had done, but that was just my personality I forgave you no matter the circumstance and that really sucked.

I mean he left bruises on my body and on Harry's, leaving cuts on his chiseled cheekbones that were still beautiful, swollen or not.

"Li I'm sorry. Come in and I'll explain more." I said pulling him in by his fore arm, in hopes that later I wouldn't regret it.

"Sweetie was it Harry at the door?" my mother asked walking in to the living room where we had sat down.

"No ma'am its me Liam." Li responded to her with a hint of edge in his voice.

"Liam? Oh wow look how grown up you are!" my mom smiled and Liam stood up to hug her.

"I've missed you guys so much." he said pulling away from the hug.

"We've missed you too! You are welcome here anytime you can just walk right in you don't even have to knock. Feel free to stay for a while I'm sure you and Rylee have a lot to catch up on." she smiled lightly walking into her room.

"So you were expecting Harry?" he said his eyes going darker than before.

"Yeah, he has a lot going on at the moment and I was expecting him to call or show up, I told him to keep me updated." I whispered looking down kind of afraid of his possible reaction.

"What are you guys anyways? Just friends right?" and this time he was the one raising his eyebrow making me feel uneasy, but I didn't let it show.

"Actually, no, he asked me to be his girlfriend last night." I smiled to myself.

"Wha-"

"Hey you two, I'll be back in a bit I've gotta run to the store and meet a friend for business purposes. I'll be back in a couple of hours." she smiled kissing my forehead and smiled waving to Liam and he instantly softened his features and waved back. It was quiet until the door shut then Liam turned dark again.

"You're going to break up with him." his tone harsh causing chills to rise and not in a good way. I stood from the couch so he couldn't linger over the top of me and laughed aloud, just looking at him.

"Liam, who do you think you are? You can't come back and expect me to fall in love with you all over again. Especially when I had met someone before you came back. This isn't ninth grade anymore and now you think you can come to my house, control me, hurt me, and pound on my boyfriend. Yeah no, none of this is okay." His eyes turning completely black he started walking closer to me.

"You were supposed to wait. You knew I'd come back for you so why didn't you wait?!" he exclaimed in my face pushing my shoulders back. I tried to hide the fear in my eyes and realization hit me, I was alone with him. I stumbled a bit, but held my ground as much as possible.
