Loki's eyes widened.

She knew that name.

'Jessica 'Jess' Fitzgerald was arrested for the murder of Chelsea Schmidt.'

Loki shook her head, backing away.

The woman sighed. "So you know."

"You killed Chelsea!"

"And many more before."

"W-What do you mean...?!"

"Your father... He was a clever man. Just clever enough to get away with murder."

"You expect me to believe that my father is a murderer!?" Loki shouted.

"No. I don't. I-I don't know what got into me... But I forced him to kill."

Then it clicked.

'....She forced him to kill Chelsea by threatening to kill his daughter instead if he didn't.'

Loki snapped.

"YOU WERE GONNA KILL ME, TOO, WEREN'T YOU!?" Loki shouted.

Tears formed in Jess's eyes.

"I-I'm sorry... I did it all. I'm gonna die painfully. I'll never go to Heaven. I see that... I nearly caused Chelsea to kill herself. I killed and murdered innocent people and broke others' hearts. But most of all, my bad deeds created these terrible monsters that haunt everyone today..."

Jess fell to her knees.

"All I've did is create pain, misery, and suffering.. I don't deserve to live."

Tears rolled down Jess's cheeks as she reached for her pistol, which she had dropped on the floor when the man had pinned her against the wall.

"Loki..." She whispered, "Tell Sara I love her, and that I'm sorry for everything I did. Tell Melody that I hate myself for killing Chelsea. And tell everyone..."

Jess put the gun to her head.

"...That it was me. I confess. I killed them all."

"N-No! Jessica!" Loki yelped, lunging at the gun.

But Jess pulled the trigger.

They all stared at the bloody scene. Her body fell limp, dropping to the floor.

"Do you think she was really sorry?"

"Maybe."

"Should we forgive her?"

"Even the innocent shall suffer. Just as we did..."

"No! SAVE THEM!"

"IDIOT! SHE CAUSED YOUR DEATH AND YOU WANT TO SAVE HER?!"

"Yes!"
