Chapter 6

It was now Friday, finally. As much as I love university it's very tiring. Throughout the week Luke had became a little distant, most nights it was just Aria and I sitting in our room. I wasn't sure what was wrong with him, we were meant to be going home for the weekend but he hadn't spoken to me in days. Eventually I decided to phone him.

"Hey Bri, what's up?" he asked.

"I was just wondering if you were still coming home for the weekend?" I asked back. He sounded alright, I wonder why he hadn't spoken to me all week.

"Oh yeah about that, I already called my mom and told her that I wasn't coming," he told me as if I already knew.

"What do you mean your not coming?" I asked, I'm shocked. It would be the first time we have seen our parents since we started university and now he isn't coming.

"I'm not going, I said I would go to a party with Michael," Luke replied, I could hear voices in the background.

"What? your not going home to see your parents because you said you would go to a party with someone you hated just over a week ago," I said getting annoyed.

"Yeah, he isn't so bad. Look Bri I have to go Calum and Ashton are over," Luke said laughing then hung up the phone.

It seemed like such a little thing but I was angry at him, 2 weeks ago he didn't even like Michael and now he's not going home to visit his own parents because he's going to a party with him. Even with the way he was talking to me, it seemed like he didn't even care. We might have only stopped talking for a few days but he seems to have changed so much. My best friend Luke was gone.
