As the class ends, the students start filing out. I push through saying 'sorry' a few times to reach Harry. "Harry." I call out. He turns around when he hears me. "Y/n." He greets me.

"Are you alright?" I ask him, getting closer to him. "I'm fine." He responds clearly dishonest. "Harry." I wrap my arms around him in a hug. He accepts the hug and wraps his own arms around my waist. He releases a breath, holding me tighter. My hand runs through his hair, in attempt to comfort him. Right when Ron and Hermione appear we separate. "Oh hello Y/n." Hermione greets me looking a tad distraught. "Hey guys." I respond unsurely.

Hermione doesn't look so good. Well that makes sense, she was right in front of the spider when the professor killed it.

"Well I'm gonna hang out with Fred and George, wanna join?" I propose. The Weasley twins always make everyone laugh.

"My brothers asked you to hang out but not me?" Ron questions, offended. "Yeah we hang out all the time." I shrug my shoulders in response. "All the time?" He asks me. "All the time." I repeat. My answer doesn't seem to please him, his small glare doesn't go past me. Harry starts "S-" before Hermione interrupts. "Harry and I can't, he has an essay to write and hasn't started, and I have to help him and make sure he doesn't waste his time starring at Cho."

My eyes widen slightly at the new-found information. "Ooh, is this a crush I hear?" I tease. "N-no, don't be absurd." Harry stutters a response. I narrow my eyes at him in disbelief. "Sure." A cute blush starts to form on his cheeks and his eyes no longer meet my own.

"Well Ron's free." Hermione changes the subject. "Actually I-I think I'm just going to read a book." Ron refuses.

Liar.

A shocked Hermione turns to him. "Since when do you read?" Hermione queries, clearly doubtful of the redhead. "Since a few ago, been reading books and other stuff." Ron responds.

Gryffindors are such bad liars, it's as good a bad thing as it is a good thing. If caught lying, you can be deemed untrustworthy, but lying, if done correctly, can get you so many things and bring you to so many places much faster. I respect Gryffindors for that, I more often choose the quicker path. Which may be the reason I was sorted into Slytherin.... But who knows? Maybe the Sorting hat knew I look better in green.

Hermione gives Ron a look of disbelief and doubt but doesn't say anything more.

"That's fine, guess it's just me and them today. See you around." I politely say before leaving the premises to join the oh so beloved Weasley twins.

The redheads' feet dangle in the water of the great lake whilst mine are safe from the Grindylows and Merpeople and kept dry in my shoes.
"Wicked.", "We love it." The twins approve.

"Although it could be better." Fred says, his brow lifted. He looks at his brother with a mischievous grin.

"I can't wait to hear an angry teacher's voice." I smile. The red heads laugh at my comment.

"Want to participate?" George suggests.

"I'm alright, I think I'd rather watch than help you guys this time." I decline.

"Your loss." Fred takes a swig from his butterbeer, that he, his brother and I snuck in at the start of the year.

"Going straight are you Y/l/n?" George teases.

"Never." I scoff, then finish off my own drink.

"Good, because we've got a new concept, it's still a prototype, so let's just say that you Y/n Y/l/n are the first person that gets to test our brand new...."
