Two days, for two days my bag has been missing, God only knows where. I've been using my backup quill, but I was on my last pot of ink and I keep having to borrow some now. And my poor beautiful elegant wand is gone with it, probably being violated up someone's nose or butthole, who knows what it's going through.

"Where did you last leave it?" Draco asks me as the four of us walk up a flight of stairs, heading to our next class.

"Gryffindor common room." I answer. I notice Draco visibly tensing up at my answer.

"Why we're you there? We're not allowed in there anyways." He continues with a cringe on his face.

"You know why Draco." I state plainly. He turns away clearly not approving.

An odd tension settles upon us, making me feel quite uncomfortable all of a sudden. It always gets like this whenever the subject of our supposed 'rival' house comes up.

"So if I want I can jinx you, and you couldn't do shit to me?" Farah asks, thankfully changing the subject.

I scoff, "Please, I don't need a wand to beat your ass." I retort.

The previous awkward air now gone, replaced with laughter.

We enter the classroom together, settling our bags down on the floor, along with our robes for those who want to.

"Come on line up!" Professor Moody yells out, clapping his hands.

All the students line up in a row as we usually do when it's a practical lesson, all of us looking worried or scared as we never know what Moody has prepared for us.

"Today we're going to practise Hex-deflection. I will throw one at you and you try not to get hit." He smiles devilishly, holding his wand in a weird way.

He throws hex after hex, barely anyone has been able to delfect them. They're simple hexes but let's just say gentle isn't in Professor Moody's nature. Next up is my turn. I ask if I could borrow someone's wand, and many students hold out their wands for me in return. I grab some Ravenclaw girl's wand next to me, a pink tint appears on her face when I thank her.

I ready myself, changing my stance and tightly gripping the wand in my hand. My head empties as my breath steadies, my mind now fully concentrated.

He stares at me dead in the eyes without moving. The tension is now thick, I wait for him to move a slight muscle as an indication.

And as I'm fully focused his arm raises rapidly, a bolt of light leaves the tip of his wand.

"Salvio hexia." Immediately I say, successfully deflecting his violent hex.

I smile and let myself relax, knowing I've succeded.

But I barely have time to chill when I see him in the corner of my eye raising his wand again. He is already throwing another hex at me.

Which he hasn't done with any of the other students.

The second hex hits me much harder than the first, I lose my balance almost falling for a moment. But I regain my balance in the instant that follows and manage to successfully deflect the hex.

Professor Moody lowers his wand. All eyes are on me, including his- well the one real eye that actually functions. I'm not sure what to think of his observing look.

"Never let your guard down!" He growls.

Harry was the only other student that was able to delfect professor Moody's harsh hexes. Well the first time at least.... he got cocky and didn't see the second hex arrive. And now he's leaving the classroom with a pair of twitchy ears amongst a lot of students who also nurse small injuries.
