Walking around the company cafeteria Y/n finally settled down. Grabbing her hair in frustration she groaned. One of her friends looked at her worriedly and some thought she finally lost her sanity after dealing with all the newcomers.
" I am so freaking tired! Why can't mister cutie, lovely, sexy guy Park Jimin see that and give me a break? Is he taking revenge on me for hitting him and yelling at him or what?"
A blond-haired girl choked on her water and stared at Y/n in disbelief.
" You hit the CEO? And yelled at him? OBVIOUSLY, HE IS MAD AT YOU!! What were you thinking idiot."
One of the nerdy-looking guys added, " yeah, I am sure you are not new here. Even though he is the new CEO everyone knows that he has a bad temper".
Y/n just sighed and drank her juice. Thinking about how to make him her friend while he is torturing her with loads of work. Getting lost in her thoughts Y/n subconsciously started to think about Jimin.
His delicate, and perfectly designed features. His perfectly build figure and kind nature. The way his skin came in contact with her, when he saved her, when he flirted with her. She missed that. Without realizing she was falling for him but wasn't ready to accept that fact. The burn, the bruise left by her ex-lover was very deep. She wasn't ready to love again, all she wanted was to feel loved. She knew it was very greedy of her but after her mom passed away her dad married someone else and moved to the USA, she only had her best friend. Relying on others is what she does very easily. But so many painful moments just make her too self-conscious. Thinking about Jimin gave her a prudent feeling, she felt secure for some reason.
" I think she is dead! She isn't moving! OMG Miss Y/n are you alright?"
Y/n's coworker shouted getting her out of her imaginations.
" huh.. did you say something? Sorry I didn't hear you."
" Miss Y/n, our team received a special engagement party invite from Mister Jimin. I didn't know he had a lover! OMG! THIS IS SOME HOT NEWS!"
The girl squealed, even though every girl in the company crushed over Jimin, the news of him getting engaged just got them even more excited. Some of them were very jealous and some were excited to meet his future wife.
" WHAT THE FUCK! PARK FREAKING JIMIN IS GETTING MARRIED?"
Y/n shrieked. She couldn't process what she just heard. How the hell was he getting engaged after all that happened between them? She had a million questions. But then it struck her that she is a nobody to him. She realized what she just spewed and gasped.
" Ah, I am just too excited that's why I yelled."
With an awkward laugh, she exited the dramatic scene and swiftly dialed her best friend's number.

This is how they act when something jaw-dropping happens.
After explaining everything to her friend, Y/n sat on the floor. Without caring that she was in the company, she just sat down and sighed.
" babe this is some messed up dish here. I thought you both will get married and have kids. Now, why is that hottie marrying someone else?"
Her best friend whined over the phone. After thinking about it Y/n realized that she was overthinking it.
" Blaze, I mean think about it. It's not like I was dating him right? I mean I don't even like him. We only planned to make him a friend and keep him safe. I told you, even if the universe made us soul mates it doesn't mean romantically."
Blaze was annoyed and Y/n could feel it over the phone.
" I'll talk to you later Blaze".
Call end.
With that she ended the call, she was feeling under the weather. The sudden engagement didn't make her feel good. She was jealous but wasn't accepting the fact. At first, she only wanted to protect him and return the favor but this time it was something more than that.
Getting up, she fixed her dress and decided to meet Jimin. Even though they had nothing more than an employee and boss relationship, Y/n thought may be looking at him once would make her feel better. She was curious...if he was happy.

Focusing on his notes, the young man moved around in his office looking for multiple files. A huge export deal was about to take place, it was once in a life time thing. It was his first-ever project as the CEO. Wanting to prove to the company board, he worked hard and tirelessly. Indeed he was changed. He missed Y/n, he wanted to hear her soft voice, he wanted to see her pretty face. He felt guilty for kissing her without her consent but he didn't regret it. Even though it was only one-sided, it was still love for him. For him falling in love was the best thing in life.
He never experienced falling in love before. But after meeting Y/n that changed, he wanted to protect her even if she hated him.
A slight knock was heard on the door, looking up Jimin fixed his glasses and directed the person outside to come in. Again focusing on his work and without looking at the person he asked, " What is it Mister Min? Everything alright ?" he thought it was his secretary.

" I'm sorry to interrupt you Sir but would you mind looking at me?"
It was her, her soft voice. Her presence Jimin missed. Raising his gaze he fixed his glasses and stared at her. Staring deeply at her fragile soul he smiled.
Pink tinted cheeks and lips, hazel brown eyes, long silky hair. The girl was the definition of beauty to him. He still had his effect on her. Even after that day she still blushed after seeing his eye smile.
" This feels nice, I missed his smile. He looks so cute in these glasses!! OMG am I fangirling at him?! ahh I think I am losing my mind." thinking to herself Y/n smiled shyly and looked down. It was hard to stop her flowing feelings, the feelings she wasn't aware of.
"Miss Y/n..what brings you here? Everything alright? Do you and your team needs any help?"
Getting back to her senses she shook her head and replied, " To be honest, I...just wanted to see you..".
That was bold of her, she couldn't believe what she just stated. Hearing that Jimin got flustered. He didn't know how to react. He was...delighted.
