When the bell chimed

The prince had visited, it's been a while since I last saw that gorgeous eyes
I was informed he was here for a marriage invitation
Because after rolling all the dice
He finally said he's gonna be married and it's gonna be a good thing for his nation

He'll have his queen, unlike mine
He said that as I let home the mime
I said sure I'll come there because we are comrades so great
I went up to my quarters, he did notice I was different, but he was late

I didn't entertain visitors to my abode
For days I didn't eat nor even check the kingdom's community ethics code
All I knew was the wedding was due in 2 months
Can my heart still confess before? I don't have a single hunch

Finally went out, I said to my right hand that he should take over
For their was no prince and the kingdom mustn't hover
I was going to ponder in my favorite orchard
When I was still a young boy
Who hated butter, but loved lard

Oh how sweet, I feel so old and grumpy
Everytime I pass the people they all look at me
It's the king, why does he looks so gloomy
And a bluffed smile I let out and that's only what they see

I came to the orchard of still dirt
A relaxing day without my retinue wouldn't hurt
But why here did I choose to ruminate you ask?
Because this is where the last time I felt like love would last.
