Should I?

You're the type of man people would say is handsome and overflows
Like,  once they look at you the first time, who wouldn't like to look everytime, like watching your favorite shows
If I were to compare you to my favorite morsel
It would be bread, which is always carried by a damsel

I don't really know what happens next to these kinds of events
Like I always fall, and  hope, and always get my heart broken
Like getting glasses, and then one day  just to break the lens
For I know it's just gonna be laughed at and forgotten

I don't really want to confess, and I'm not gonna lie
Because I know after I do, there's the feeling that I would die
Like seeing people's faces after they read the letter
When I say that I like them and they're unlike any other

You're different, I didn't like you because of your face
Like in a racing competition, you just won first place
They don't care about the looks, they care about the competition
And just like the race, you can make light to my whole nation.
