~ Aether POV ~
I have Xiaos hand in mine now and I'm rushing out the door and forcing him down the stairs. For a change I'm gonna try getting him to eat in the city. It'll be good if he actually interacts with people after all he is there protector.

Once we are out of Wangshu Inn I decide to walk rather then speed walk, it's nice, the cold breeze brushing against me and Xiaos warm hand in mine. I look at him and he's just staring at our hands, how cute. The sky grows dim and the sun struggles to light the sky, the ombre of colours is beautiful and the orange leaved trees swaying in the wind as if they are dancing. Soon we reach a point where we can see Liyue and Xiao just looks at me confused.
"I  hope you don't think I am going into such a crowded place " he seems so hesitant.
" I do hope you will, you need to interact with people more!! " I try my best to persuade him but once we reach the gates he stops and won't move an inch closer.
" such a wuss over such a small matter " he looks at me and his eyebrows are furrowed he looks like an angry cat, so cute!
" if you don't move ill just carry you, now you wouldn't want to embarrass yourself, almighty yaksha " of course I'm going to tease him if he's going to be such an unsocial emo.

Finally he slowly walks towards the city and I try to speed him up but tugging on his arm. He looks around at all the people and the loud shouting, he doesn't seem overwhelmed but uncomfortable and that's what you need to do!! We head to Xianglings restaurant but on the way we bump into Zhongli. 

" Oh good evening Xiao " he stopped in front of us and the corners of his lips curved forming soft smile. Xiao just glared at Zhongli so I nudged him in the arm lightly and he looked at me, his eyes becoming normal again. Zhongli looked at me, examining every small detail about me that he could visibly see. 

" Who is your companion here, Xiao? "

" He is.. just a friend " he looked away from both of us. I glared at Zhongli, 

" C'mon we're leaving Xiao, please excuse us " I gripped his hand and sped walked away and Xiao just looked at the floor. Once we reached Wanmin restaurant, I go to the counter and Xiangling appears from the kitchen and smiles. I came here when a while after Lumine first visited to make sure she wasn't becoming friends with untrustworthy people and this blue gumball girl seemed to take a liking to me. She compares me to the ' amazing hero traveller ' an awful lot.. Luckily she's fairly gullible and believes anything I say. 

" Aether!! andddd ? "

" Xiao.. " wow he really spoke but still didn't take his eyes off the floor. 

" It's nice to meet you Xiao!! So what can I get you today ? " 

" We will have aaa.. how about you pick ? a nice surprise "

" Oo theres a new recipe i've come up with i'd be so happy to get your opinions!! " Should we be concerned.. Talking about 'we' I look back at Xiao and he's just looking at something but what is it?  I look past Xiao and he's staring at a certain part of the restaurant that seems to be only filled with couples on dates.. oh.. 

" Would you prefer if we sat a table ? " he jumped and turned his view to look at me. He looked tired or maybe upset? Either way it's not often you see Xiao looking so emotional. I just give him a reassuring smile, I mean I did basically force him out of his comfort zone.. I grip his hand tightly for a short moment before walking with him to an empty table. It had 2 wooden chairs one at each side of a wooden square table covered in a purple and white criss-cross patterned cloth with a white vase with a beautiful bouquet of Violetgrass flowers. They must have been a pain to obtain, luckily they take quite a while until they shrivel up and die. He sits down and I sit on the other side ( obviously ) and I just look at him, his eyes half open and his head rest in his hands.  I hope his head doesn't fall, I might not be able to catch it in time..

I look back to the counter and there stand Xiangling with 1 large plate in her hand. I raise my arm and wave at her signalling our location. She carefully walks to us while making sure not to bump into anyone. She places the place in between me and Xiao while moving the vase of violetgrass' to the side. I thank her and she joggs back to the kitchen. I look back at Xiao and his head now lays on his arm, hes sleeping.. I tap his head and he doesn't react so instead I get up and lean behind Xiao and lightly stroke my finger down his spine and he almost immediately wakes up grabbing my wrist, he stares at me with his bright golden eyes with sharp pupils like a cat. I stand up and Xiaos grip doesn't loosen he just keeps staring at me then he quickly looks around and it seems like we are gaining attention from people nearby. Xiao looks back at me and lets go of my hand. I sit back down. I see Xiaos face and he stared at the food on the plate, he looks disgusted.. I look down and on the plate is what appears to be 5 blobs of condensed smile, which seems to have many different herbs inside of it and what looks like sweet flowers ? 

" It's pretty.. " HE SOUNDS SO TIRED ITS SO CUTEE NDSNFUHJA..

" just like you.. that was.. " 

" cheesy. " how embarrassing.. 

" but it is true, if only you could see yourself when you sleep  " he looked at me with an irritated expression. I pick up a small fancy fork given to us and and I stab one of the weird blue blobs and hold it at the entrance of Xiaos mouth and he takes a few seconds before caving in and eats the condensced slime. He crosses his arm, leans back on the chair and chews. The slime must be thick as hes taking a long time before he eventually swallows. 

" It was okay but hard to chew " such a brief review..

" I can tell " he just looks at me all sassily because of my comment.

" whatt~ dont look at me like that " He's so fun to tease.

Xiao takes the petit fork out of my hand and takes the another condensced  slime but this time its pointed at my lips and I accept it gratefully and he wasn't kidding its so hard to chew, I could hardly separate my bottom teeth from the top ones.. He takes another and eats it himself and just looks at me in the eyes before looking away. He places down the fork on the table and looks back at the  counter. Xiangling pops out of the side wall and waves at us smiling cheerfully. I hadn't even noticed i had swallowed the slime. I look at Xiao he has also finished and he looks at the last two and looks at me.. 

" I am not eating those.. " 

" Neither.. " he stares at my eyes and he looks like an alert cat.  We just sit there and stare at each other. 

" I ate 1 more then you so eat another to make it even "

" Even ? Is this a competition? " he nods, ohh so the little yaksha like to play.
