Blaze Chapter 19: A House In The Hills

Jovonnie: I'm trying to save your life baby. This ain't your fight! I going handle this nigga once and for all.Go! Make sure you and your friend safe. After he said that, he kissed me and me so tight.I felt like I wasn't going to see him again. I throw the bag out of the window the was getting read to jump out.

Stacey: Jovonnie! You ever wondered what really happened to your father. I fucking killed that bastard! He never liked me he thought I was poison but maybe he was right.

When I heard Stacey said that I got back in through the window. Jovonnie was livid! He told me to get the fuck out now. I was still trying to convince him to come with me but he wasn't hearing me.I jumped out the window with the bag then I ran into the bush. I only heard gun shots going off blazing. I got so scared that I thought I would never see Jovonnie again. I ran and ran all the way back to the car. I started it up.The bag with money was in the back then I headed all the way to Roc's house. I was shacking as I was driving his car. I never been so scared in my life!

I never had no one to lose. Now that I do have one, I don't want to lose him. I pulled up in Rocs yard honking the horn. Roc came out the house with a travel bag in his hand. HE came in the front seat then throw his bag in the back. He was so fast he provably was making sure he got in the right car.

Roc: He grabbed me then we hugged. He said," I'm glad you ok my brother!".

Blaze: I'm glad you ok too

Roc: Where is Jovonnie?

Blaze: Shit went down! He wanted me to leave him. He told me to go get you then go to his house. He wanted us to be safe! He wanted to deal with Stacey. I'm scared Roc! I'm so scared! I hope he is ok! I don't want lose him!

Roc: You love him don't you

Blaze: I think I do

Roc: Did you tell him?

Blaze: No!

Roc: I'm sure he handling shit and he is ok. We going be ok! Let's go! This car was circling the block like five times after you text me code red.

I pulled of from Rocs house. As we made our way out Jovonnie's house we talked about Jovonnie. I just felt like I lost something real. I should've done something to get him out the house with me.The most horrible feeling is not knowing what's going on. We both were on the eastern road looking for house 78. This neibourhood good was so white someone looked like they wanted to call the police. They were looking out there window at our car like what the fuck. White people walking at night made us thought we were in the wrong place.

Roc: That's #78 right there! It's gated you got the gate remote?This dude doing big things? You sure this is his house?

Blaze: I got the house key but look in the glove compartment for it. He looked in there and for sure the gate key was inside it.We pressed it and the gate opened so that answered the question of it bring his house.

Roc: Wow! You know he had this house?

Blaze: No I didn't! He just told me about this. He said he was working on this for years. When he changed his life this was his new crib for all that.

As the gate opened we went str8 in then waited watching the gate close back. We drive in the round about parking that had a fountain in the middle. I was so amazed at how big this house was that I didn't have no words. It was a gray stone house that looked like a mini mansion. We got out the car then went to the large glass entrance door. I was so amazed that Jovonnie had the money to do something like this. He ain't no dumb nigga he know what he wanted in life. He dam sure didn't want live like a thug all his life. He wanted to live like a celebrity.
