Blaze Chapter 75: Mom Im Alive

We just sat back and didn't say a word but we got on this street where it all seemed like home to us. We pulled up to this house as I looked at Roc he looked at me. We pulled up to Roc's & Jovonnies's moms house.

Roc: So big brother you ready for this? You ready to take this step and let mom know everything?

Jovonnie: Hell no but I think it's time I show my myself to my mother. To have our lives in the open. I know she probably still be wondering what happened to me all these years.

Roc: Let me go to talk to her first then I will text you when to come in. We can't just drop it all on her at once like that. We can't kill our only mother with a heart attack.

Jovonnie: Ok we could do that just don't take to long I might pull off as he started to laugh. Roc got out the car then he said Blay lets go nigga.

Blaze: Ok I coming but then I just held Jo hand asking him if he was ready for this emotional roller coaster.

Jovonnie; No but I think it's time I stop hiding and let my mom know I'm alive. I want her to know I'm here and despite it all I love her.

Blaze: I'm sure she will but let's go get this thing started then.

I got out the car feeling a little nervous for Jo. This can go great but this can go south and she deny him. Roc and I knocked on the door and his soon to be brother in law Kendrick opened it.

Ric: Move nigga! Where my mom at?you opening this door like you run the fucking place.

Kendrick: She in there but let me tell you this I'm not trying to take over I don't even want to be here. My father is happy so I'm just trying to make the best of it. Don't think for one second I'm a bitch ass nigga and will let you run over me. If we going be brothers we going have to talk and get past this. Roc just walked passed him and didn't say a word but I stopped to him for a second.

Blaze: I dapped him then I said how's everything

Kendrick: Everything cool I really like it here but I got no friends

Blaze: Once you start college you'll know a lot of people but take my numbers so I'll come pick you up when we doing something.

Kendrick: I would've loved to go on that trip with you guys but I wasn't invited. No one was giving me a chance they just see me as the new step brother

Blaze: Naw man I promise when we have another function I going make sure you there alright.

I talked to Kendrick for about five minutes more then I went in the kitchen to find Roc. When I went in the hail way he was still there just watching his mom. He didn't went inside as yet I guess he had butterflies for what we are about to drop on her.

Blaze: What you watching? I thought you came in to talk to your mom. You bitching out?

Roc: I was waiting on you nigga! Naw I'm not bitching out

Blaze: You scared to talk to your mom all that mouth you had as I started to laugh. I was just laughing at him that he was scared to talk to his mom so I walked in the kitchen then I said mom. She turned around then she said boys. You can tell her mine was deep in thought as she was cooking up that home made spaghetti and meat balls.

Roc's Mom: Boys how are you as she came over to hug me. She looked at Roc as he hugged him then she said I'm surprised you came over. I know you hate me right now and mad at me right now for getting engaged.

Roc: a I don't hate you mommy I just hate the fact that you keep a lot of important shit away from me. It's pissed me fucking off and I'm still pissed about it.
