Formed from the endless well of chaos sprung a great pyramid with a beautiful lotus flower from the top of it all. As the flower opened, a great light purged the chaotic darkness as the source of this light was the first God, the sun god Ra.
While Ra was alone in his time in the universe, she created and birthed multiple children.
From Tefnut, The Goddess of Moisture, Shu, the God of the Air, Bastet, the Cat Goddess of Fertility, Hathor, the Goddess of Beauty and Love, Sekhmet, the Goddess of Destruction, and Maat, Goddess of Truth and Justice.
Ra ruled over her ancient realm with the title of the first Pharoh, as humans came into existence to worship the gods along the great Nile River. Though the lineage of gods continued to grow, as Shu and Tefnut birthed the Heavens and the very Earth for the humans to dwell. Nut and Geb.
Nut and Geb consummated together to form offspring of their own. However, Ra had a vision of one of Nut and Gebs offspring overthrowing him and forbade Nut to give birth for any days of the year.
In her distress, Nut turned to the God Thoth the God of Wisdom for his assistance in the matter. So, Thoth went to the moon God Khonsu and bargained with him in a game of Senet (Similar to that of chess) for a small fraction of his moonlight. After winning, he adds this fraction of moonlight to the lunar calendar, adding days outside of the parameters of Ra's rule for Nut, allowing her to birth four powerful gods, the first-born being Osiris, God of Life, then came Isis, Goddess of Magic, then Nephthys, Goddess of Protection and Peace, and finally, Set, the God of War, the Desert, and the embodiment of Chaos.
As Ra grew older and her light dimmed on the world, so she had to retreat to her sun boat that orbited the skies of her realm. The throne of Pharoh eventually passed onto Osiris who later took Isis as his wife as Set took Nephthys as his. Osiris proved to be a powerful king, ruling over the realm of Egypt that made him beloved by all the mortals and even the other gods, all the gods except his younger brother Set.
Set believed the throne was rightfully his to rule, and with the words of Sekhmet, she plants the seed of vengeance and malice against Osiris, which Set manages to hold off for the most part.
With Set being the god of the Desert, he is baren and unable to birth children. So, Nephthys took the form of Isis, and consummated with Osiris, giving birth to Anubis, the God of the Dead.
Sekhmet used this and whispered the betrayal into Set's ears, sending Set into a fit of rage. Set attacked Osiris and dismembered his brother into pieces. Throwing each one into the Nile River and taking the throne for himself.
Isis was thrown into despair at the loss of her husband and sought out help. Which she later received from her sister Nephthys and her nephew, Anubis who later assisted in gathering the parts of Osiris. Using her magic, and the help of the Jackal headed God Anubis, she was able to revive her husband. Though he could not maintain his life in the world of the living, he and Isis bore a child together, a son who they later named Horus.
During Horus' childhood, he hid with his mother as Set ruled over Egypt, sending the realm into despair and misery. With his ever-growing power, no God dare fight or even oppose his rule, sending the other Gods into hiding as well out of fear of Set's wrath. Though Horus would return to face Set and rid the world of his evil. Taking the throne from him as per his birthright.
Presently, Set lay in his room, his hair sprawled out on his bed. Sekhmet, crawling onto the bed, her dark hair draping over herself and Set as she looks down into hie eyes with her piercing violet eyes, and a devilish smile.
"So, enjoying the new rulership? Is it everything you ever wanted Set?" She asked.
"Something still doesn't feel right. I feel like something is missing. But I can't place my fingers on it." Set stands from the bed as Sekhmet snakes her fingers onto his shoulders, leaning into his ear.
