●His blood soaked all of my clothes, it gushed out of him, staining my hands.
He can't leave me! He just can't, right? He's not gone, he'll wake up soon, he always does.
The two of us were supposed to leave this godforsaken factory together. He was so fucking selfish. Why did he have to die now?
He stayed strong when the God's wanted him dead, so why could he not stay for me?
That bullet took him away from me.
My legs gave way beneath me and my knees hit the cold floors. My uniform was suffocating, that same uniform that meant I was responsible for his safety.
His pallid eyes looked through mine, but I still hoped I had imagined everything; that this was all a dream.
Prehaps the sniper was a figment of my imagination, the blood of my boss was simply an impossible thought that had crept from the deepest corner of my mind.
However, this was no fairytale, and the Gods refused my pleas.
I hoped I would close my eyes and open them once again to see his vermillion eyes admiring mine.
