A few days later, it was the annual Faire Day. Everyone pitched in to help turn the grounds of Ever After High, both inside an out, into a magical wonderland.
Apple led a clan of students to help set up tables in the Grimmnasium and hang banners and lights from the ceiling. Ginger Breadhouse, daughter of the witch in Hansel & Gretel, led another clan of students to make a vast array of colorful cupcakes and other sweet treats. While Ashlynn's boyfriend, Hunter Huntsman, and other boy students set up tents and games outside.
Ashlynn hadn't had enough time to finish enough bracelets for Faire Day, but she was just glad to be back to normal.
As usual, Blondie had her mirrorcast show recording.
"Welcome back students to yet another episode of Blondie's Mirrorcast Show. I'm here today for an exclusive interview with Raven Queen, who has all the answers to hers and Ashlynn's disappearance," Blondie says to the camera.
"Raven Queen, how-," Blondie question was abruptly cut off by Cedar Wood."Raven, Headmaster Grimm wants to see you," Cedar says.
"Sorry, Blondie, gonna have to wait until another time," Raven asserts. Blondie grumbles.
Headmaster Grimm smiles fondly at Raven when she enters his office.
"Miss Queen," he says, resting his elbows on the desk, across from a seated Raven. "I'm very pleased with the fact that you turned in Miss Cheshire and Miss Thorn. It proves you do have an evil side."
"I was just doing the right thing, Headmaster Grimm," Raven argues.
Headmaster Grimm waves her off.
"I've decided to reward you with this pin." He slides a circular, silver pin across the desk.
"'Schools Baddest Girl,'" Raven reads the bright green letters. She cringes. "Thank you, Headmaster Grimm."
"It is an honor token. Wear it always and you'll be held with the upmost respect by all students and faculty."
Raven knew for sure that she was never, ever going to wear it.
Apple, Ashlynn, Cedar, and Briar were waiting for Raven, dressed immaculately as magical, fairytale creatures, ready for a day of fun times on Faire Day.
