Break a leg

Slowly waking up I check my clock to see I'm up an hour earlier than need. I decide to just get up anyways.

I walk down the stairs and make some breakfast before heading in the shower.

Forty minutes later I throw on my black jeans,white shirt,black jumper and black overcoat before heading back downstairs to tidy up any mess that was made.

I feel my phone buzz in my pocket to see its ryder messaging me.

55.ryderblake- hey I'm a bit early where are you

Daquintinreed- give me a second. I'm leaving now

55.ryderblake-OK

I put my boots on and walk out of the house and see ryder walking over to me

"So this is where you live" Ryder says

"Yeah. Anyway I'm so excited for auditions" I respond

"Me too. Nice outfit btw" He states

"Aww thanks." I say while blushing

Thirty minutes later we arrive and head straight to main room.

"Rember Quintin. You're in the second group of people auditioning for the role. So you'll be last to leave. I'll wait for you don't worry" Ryder states while patting my shoulder as reassurance

"Okay. I've got to head out. I've got designs that won't approve themselves" I say while running to class

When I get there I see Professor Kennedy on the phone. I patiently wait for her to finish her phone call.

"Mr Reed you're early again." She observed

"Yeah well creativity doesn't sleep. Not to be rude or anything but what was that phone about professor" I question

"Well if you must know. Couture par Impératrice phoned. They are looking for three students to assist them on a new collection. I have until the end of the day to pick those students." She expressed.

"Well I would be delighted to be one of those students but I know that's not how it works. You've got to inform the rest of the class. Also professor I can't attend this afternoons lesson due to auditioning for the schools musical" I inform her before taking my seat.

After thirty minutes of the professor talking to the class about the opportunity. She states that she has picked the students and she will give the reason why she chose these students.

Another ten minutes pass and she finally gets to the last person.

"The final person I have chose is Quintin Reed.This is due to his ability to use a variety of unconventional materials to make his outfits as well as his ability to use current social issues and tie them into his outfits effortlessly. I believe he'd make a great candidate for the opportunity. Everyone give a round of applause to our three candidates" She says

I look around to see a varied range of emotions on the classes face. There was hate and jealousy up to gratitude and relief.

Daquintinreed- Ryder I've got some great news. I've been put forward to work with Couture par Impératrice. I've always dreamed of working with them.

55.ryderblake- OMG. That's great when does it start

Daquintinreed- It's starts next year. Me and two other students have got the rest of this year to perfect and finalise our portfolios

55.ryderblake- that's great news. Some more great news, you're able to audition earlier than expected. Half of the other group didn't show up
