SMG4: The Proditio Arc

The Game Night To End All Game Nights

  Our story begins in the familiar land of the Mushroom Kingdom. It is a dark stormy night. SMG4 sits on the couch, bored out of his mind. The Wi-Fi is down and most of his friends are out doing their own things tonight. Suddenly, a great idea pops into SMG4's head.

SMG4: "I should have a game night with 3,2 and 1!"

  So he calls up his fellow SMGs and asks if they want to play Monopoly. All three of them say that it sounds fun and they'll be over soon. 4 quickly digs Monopoly out of the closet and pulls out a fold-up table. He snags a few chairs from the kitchen for everyone to sit on. And just as SMG4 finishes he hears a knock on the door.

SMG4: "Come in!"

  The door slowly opens as SMG3 steps into the castle with an umbrella.

SMG3: "Damn the rain's really coming down..."
SMG4: "Well the Wi-Fi's out for a reason. Hopefully 1 and 2 don't get stuck in the rain"

3 doesn't respond but instead sits down at the table. Shortly after, SMG4 joins him. The two set up Monopoly at talk about the most random things together for what seems like hours. SMG4 starts to doubt 1 and 2 are coming. Then there's a loud bang at the door.

SMG1: "Try to be a bit more gentle!"
SMG2: "Sorry!"

4 walks up to the door and opens it. He has to look down to see who's there.

SMG2: "Hey 4! Sorry we're late! We kinda got stuck in the rain."
SMG4: "Oh it's fine. Why don't you sit down with 3 at the table while I get snacks?"

  SMG1 and 2 dry of as best they can, go sit with 3, and choose their game pieces.

SMG2: "I'll be the t-rex!"
SMG1: "Since when was there a t-rex in Monopoly?"
SMG3: "Apparently 4's copy of the game has one,"
SMG1: "I'll be the top hat I guess"

  SMG3 sits in his chair awkwardly, not knowing what else to say. He looks down.

SMG3: "I'll be the dog because of how much Eggdog means to me."

SMG4: "That's sweet."

SMG4 walks in towards the table with chips, pretzels, and crackers. 3's eyes widen as he blushes from embarrassment. If he knew 4 was on his way back with snacks he wouldn't have been so sentimental like that.

SMG4: "Now we have everything we need, let the games begin!"

SMG4 sits down and passes the snacks around.

~~SEVERAL HOURS LATER~~

Just as one might expect everyone is fighting over the railroads. SMG1 wants complete control over them. Meanwhile 3 is trying to dissuade SMG4 from giving up the final railroad 1 needs to complete his collection.

SMG3: "4 DON'T DO IT! IN THE END HE'LL STEAL ALL OUR MONEY!!!"
SMG4: "Oh please! how bad could it be? Plus I'll get Boardwalk if I do this trade!"

SMG1 smiles as 4 hands over the last railroad. The chaos has truly begun. Meanwhile 2 is just sitting there...

MENACINGLY

  Suddenly, a loud explosion like bang is heard off in the distance. Everyone freezes in absolute shock not knowing what to do.

SMG3: "What... the hell... was that!?"

It takes a while for someone to respond as no one knows what to say.

  Finally SMG2 speaks up.

SMG2: "I don't know, but it definitely wasn't good!"
SMG4: "Guys, guys! Relax! I'm sure it's just a military test or something like that!"
