I'm awake. The cold air breezes through my open window... I don't remember leaving it open. The outside is so noisy. I toss my warm comforter to the side and walk over to close the window. Just as I press my fingers on the top, I see a familiar face on the balcony.

"Good morning, Y/N!" My neighbor, and childhood best friend, Sachiko shouts.

The embarrassment is really too much to take, so I slam my window shut, and close the curtains.
I hear an audible whine from outside.

"Hey, Are you coming back anytime soon? The squad really misses you, you know!" The bubbly girl spoke to me, but I gave no reply. I feel awful about ignoring her, but she could never look at me the same. I'm an idiot. My parents were right.

I slump back into my bed, flipping open my phone. I stare at the lockscreen for a few seconds.

[ MagiBond! 果たして!: 41 ]

I know MagiChat was obviously from Sachiko. MagiBond was a mobile game Sachiko was absolutely addicted too, and she convinced me to download it. I hardly play on it, but she really must have been desperate to message me there.

Everyone seems to be worried about me... Or they just want to know if the rumors are true. At least this rumor is overtaking the previous one.

[ Flashback. ]

" —That's really because the only place for Yakito to go to was the Cafe that Yugi worked at though! It was honestly so awkward when they both saw each other. " Aoi rambled on about the craziest thing that happened the other day.

" Ah, Is that so? " Y/N said, their interest slightly piqued.

" Mhm! You won't believe what happened next, though! It's the best part. So, anyways, Yugi looked over to Yakito, who was running from Nagisa, and Yugi let him into the back to hide from Nagisa! " Aoi presented the story like it was the most important thing ever, even though you had your headphones in and was paying half-attention.

" Did Nagisa-kun come in? Isn't he banned from the Cafè for rioting a food fight? " Y/N questioned. You weren't sure, Nagisa's temper got him banned from lots of places.

" That's not the crazy part! So, Nagisa came in- The audacity, right?!- " Aoi paused.

Y/N gave a small hum in response.

" Yeah, so, Nagisa came in, and he was panting like a dog! He asked me where Yakito was. And honestly, I'm no snitch! So I said, I don't know! " Aoi exclaimed. Y/N began to dissociate from the conversation, as you weren't one for drama.

Aoi continued the story all the way until you made it to Advisory. She sat down next to you, still talking.

" And after a while, I went to check on Yakito and Yugi, cause they were both hiding, right? So I know I'm not supposed to, but I walked into the back, and I found Yakito and Yugi kis- " Aoi rambled really fast, but was cut off by the professor.

" Ms. Makima. I see you are starting the morning off with a conversation instead of coffee. I suppose they both energize you, anyway. " Professor Muki spoke gruffly, almost a reprimand. But the one person you know that could not take anything seriously, Aoi.

" You betcha', Mister, uhm.. Muki! Yuh-huh! I was actually telling a story about my friend Yak- " Aoi began to retell the story, and an audible groan was heard throughout the class. Aoi was definitely energetic in the class, nobody knew how she talked so much, especially in the morning. You wouldn't be surprised if she talked in her sleep.
