Nightmares

Chapter 4 - This Again?

Lucas had another nightmare later that night, but it was like a continuation of the last. He saw his friends standing infront of him. He reached towards them but before he could touch them, they vanished. He looked around himself, frantically trying to spy his friends but they were nowhere in sight. He tried calling for them but he still made no sound. He looked around and found a forrest. He saw something deep in the forrest, so he went in. as he got closer, he smelt a sickening smell. When he reached it, he knew exactly what was stinking so bad. He saw a hand. It looked pale and like it was gnawed on. He knew who it must of been. James, he was the best fit for the description. He ranaway in tears. When he finally came to a stop, he was at the edge of a lake. Far in the middle, he saw something floating along the water. He was alreadly shaken but he knew, if that was james back there, then that must've been Kaden. His knees were shaking, his eyes poured like waterfalls, and he eventually became to weak to hold himself up. As he dropped to his knees, he held himself. He sat there and cried for what seemed like forever until in the corner of his eyes, he saw something bright. It got so bright that his vision went white and then gone.
After that he jolted awake. He looked at the time on his phone. "Only 7 in the morning?" He said with heavy breaths. He imagined that it would be 2 in the afternoon. He got up, got dressed, and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. After breakfast was made, he woke his parents up and went to check on Kaden and James.
